This will require a little explaining. DH always says that he lived in a world full of grey (both figuratively and literally), and then here I came as an explosion of neon and glitter and lit his world up. I'm getting all teary thinking about it. I love that man. I couldn't find a picture that fit that exactly, so this is the closest I got. This is also where the nickname "thefanciestbeckler" came from.

Oh my god this is the sweetest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, again, some explanation. H and I are a team, we're the only two members, that's always how we've thought of our relationship. We like other people, we love our families, but we're a team that no one else get's to be on.
When we first started dating we watched a lot of football together, that's how we spent our Sundays, when we finally took a break from grad school. When we got married we had to write our 'bios' for the officiant, and H wrote in his about that's when he fell in love with me was watching all those football games together.
I don't have anything nearly as fantabulous as @thefanciestbeckler but these two pretty much sum up me & H:
I have known H for over half my life - he was my prom date. We have our moments like anyone else, but overall we are a great team. We're both goofy, tend to say the same weird shit at the same time, and like to make up new lyrics to existing songs to describe our dog, or traffic, or what have you. The first image is part of the toast my MOH gave us at our wedding that made us both tear up because it's spot on. And the gif is part of a joke that the two of us have - it started years ago when he said something that involved the phrase "it's not unusual" at which point I started singing the Tom Jones song...and then since one of us sings that when the other one inadvertently uses that phrase. We are such dorks that we had this song on our playlist for the DJ at our wedding.
Oh. I'm totally Claire, and SO is totally Phil. Like, to a T. haha. For example, for the longest time he has wanted to get a kitten, a bunny, and a puppy all at the same time. I've shut him down....I don't know how many times. I'm just waiting to come home one day and have a bunny and puppy here.
@sparklepants41, my H and I make up new lyrics to existing songs also, lol.
Whenever my H and I see an older couple walking and holding hands or with their arms around each other, we smile at each other and know that will be us someday. We've been together over 15 years and are just as affectionate now as when we were first dating. He still makes me smile and my heart lift when I first see him, even if it has been a bad day.
We both love animals and have a major soft spot for dogs and cats. Just like a cat and dog can be friends and be snuggly together, my H and I both embrace how our similarities and differences mesh to make us the perfect companions for each other.

FI and I LOVE baseball. We live it and breathe it 7 months each year. We go to at least three-four games a month and tickets are always a go-to gift for us. It really is something that we bond over and love.
So this doesn't really describe our relationship, per se, but it's an important memory that is basically what caused our relationship to really flourish. DH had never met a Doberman before he met me, and as sweet as Toothless was, that's not the first thing any stranger thinks upon faced with a barking, hulking animal with flashing teeth and a bad reputation (thanks, Hollywood).
Anyway, the first day we hung out, Toothless just stared at DH. Sat there, on the couch, between us, and stared at him. And because we were in a LDR, DH stayed over, and Toothless, who never slept ANYWHERE but with me in my bed spent the entire night at the foot of the stairs, watching DH as he tried to sleep on the couch.
I thought DH would never come back.
I knew Toothless thought DH was a keeper when, on probably our 3rd weekend together, he stretched out on the couch on top of DH, and rolled over asking for belly rubs. It used to take him months to warm up to strangers, to the point where he felt safe enough to expose his belly like that.
But I knew DH was a keeper when he bought my dog a gift for Valentine's Day. It was a bean-bag penguin toy, and it was Toothless' favorite toy. In the entire world. He carried it with him everywhere, inside, outside, into the car, to bed, from bed... everywhere. Every other toy was always ripped to shreds within minutes. But not this penguin. Hiccup pulled out its eyes and one foot, and it lost all its beans in the wash, but it survived 4 moves and 5 years of doggy love. We had it cremated with him.
In that moment, I knew it would never be a "love me love my dog" type of relationship. He just plain loved my dog, no strings attached, independent of me. And he fell for Toothless long before he fell for me.
It sounds really cheesy and silly written out like this, but I'm sure that's the moment I fell in love with him, when I realized he loved my dog as if he were his own.
"And when they use our atoms to make new lives, they won’t just be able to take one, they’ll have to take two, one of you and one of me..."
I know this isn't an artsy picture....but we're basically Phil and Clair from Modern Family.
I think DK is waiting for the day that this happens. ^^^ I already got a 20gal fish tank with fish and set it up while he was out of the country. That might have earned me enough points to bring an alpaca home.

That puppy and kitty are so damn cute! We have a long haired dachshund just like that - no kitty though.
We both enjoy getting behind the wheel and driving to places we have never been before while singing songs with made-up lyrics or strange animal noises (don't judge!). It's a lot of fun but not many other people "get it" so that is why this is just the two of us, together as a team doing what we do!

I wouldn't judge the animal noises. M and I have made up a whole thing about a dead body in the trunk of our old car because something was moving around.
About a month ago we had a conversation about 2 spiders in the garage. Thelma and Louise. One had a gun, but I reminded M that spiders have too many legs and not enough balance. Terrible aim.

@MissKittyDanger it wasn't
we did more of a traditional ceremony. But if we'd written our own vows, it would have been!
@sparklepants41 he is precious. He isn't typically very romantic, but when he says or does something romantic he makes sure it's over the top!

I won't like. I completely love this also ...
@charlotte989875 that is the sweetest thing ever!!!!!! I love it. "We're a team no one else gets to be on" is going to make me cry.
@MissKittyDanger I absolutely love that dress, I'm not gonna lie.

At least it's not a duck, lol.

ETA: We also love "The Princess Bride."
So much so that I bought her a Heart package special with a stuffed Heart holding his butterfly for Valentine's Day.
Also, we were catching up on Modern Family last night and the scene with Mitchell getting out of bed and Cam trying to pull him back with:
Cam: "Don't leave me!"
Mitchell: "I'm just going to the bathroom!"
Cam: *crying* "Have a nice life!"
had us both in tears. K = Cam, Me = Mitchell.
I already got a 20gal fish tank with fish and set it up while he was out of the country. That might have earned me enough points to bring an alpaca home.
I would have to go with this one...
