Drinking some tea, hoping for a MUCH better day today than yesterday. I had a talk with my boss about "the things I'm doing above my job description" and he goes "well we [him and the lab director] started the paperwork to promote you, but my hands are tied as to the timeframe. I can't give you an estimate as to when it will come through." And I wasn't even that excited because I was so frustrated with everything else....but now I am! Come on promotionnnnnn!

Yay Irish!!!! I asked H to bring home green tea for me last night. I've been drinking that instead of coffee. He brought me four bottles of Arizona. Really? I had to explain the difference between brewing tea and the sugar and crap they put in Arizona.

Omg love that!!! Haha silly husbands. I always look at the teas in the grocery store and H is like, you have eleventy billion teas at home. ...But I always need more!!

Haha. I hate tea. Honestly. But green tea is supposed to help make babies so I'm forcing myself! :-) I'm not sure how my husband stands me. I'm super picky and anal about random things so if it isn't exactly what I want I won't use it. I don't like drinking calories so I won't drink that tea. I'm sure next time he will be like "go to the freakin store yourself!" haha.

Can I also just say that I've been having a hard time remembering words. It's not all the time but it happens and is so random. It took me hours to remember the word reputation. I wanted to use it when talking to my students and I couldnt remember for the life of me. I hope I'm not going crazy.

Hike: I love tea, and green tea is one of my favorites. I still have tea leaves from Japan(maybe it will work better? If only you were closer!) I've had grean tea, hot/cold, as a candy, ice cream, etc. It's just so good!

Going against the grain here. Green tea is disgusting. All others are yummy.

It's raining here and I'm not motivated to do any work. I'm also struggling with what to get H for Christmas. I just saw a livingsocial escape for our favorite place in NC but you have to use the days by Feb and that ain't happening. Boo.

Good morning. I finally understand why people get S.A.D.  I go to work and it is dark... and I come home and it is dark. The sun does not exist anymore!

Last week my supervisor and I discussed me staying on until I get married. I just got an email saying she talked with her boss about it, and he wants to talk to me and has a more attractive offer that what we originally discussed. Peaked my interest.

Random note, yesterday I was really missing FI. I don't normally act this way a few weeks after seeing him (It is normally right after he leaves), so I don't know why I feel this way or how to fix it! Maybe I should stop watching lovey-dovey TV shows/ Movies.Haha

Irish - Congrats thats wonderful news!!
Hikey - I hope the green tea has great affects for you! I personally love it and drink about 3 cups of it a day. Its just yummy and is supposed to be really good for your metabolism.

Its sunny in the sunshine state today. I'm kind of over working atm. I don't really want to and don't really feel like it. I just want a day to myself to sleep, be lazy and bake. I'm debating on bringing my computer (laptop) into the kitchen and baking and working. Ahh - i love multitasking. I just want some yummy sugar cookie goodness.
Hopefully TK is fixed today.

Ditto on being tired. I couldn't sleep so I cleaned my kitchen at 12:30 then apparently I was screaming about my foot hurting and legs hurting and woke FI up. I dont remember it all

 I'm with Shan, it's like 15 degrees here with snow. The drive to work was very pretty, but still.. too cold.
I really do hope TK is fixed.
Hike- have you ever tried green tea flavored with strawberry? When I worked at a coffee  and tea shop, we had flavored green tea leaves and they were yummy.

We have been running around at work today. Definitely getting coffee now. I need to do more studying (story of my liiiife)!

FI and I saw a deal on livingsocial yesterday for a place in Mexico that we're talking about for honeymoon. wow it was niiiiiiice.... but we're still kind of thinking about Costa Rica too. hmmmm. I just can't wait to go whereever already- because I should be DONE with written tests by then except for NCLEX. Cheaaaa!!

I love tea! When I traveled to Australia I loved that my host family had "tea" 3 times a day (mid-morning tea, afternoon tea, and evening tea) each time with cookies and other finger foods. I think they were just putting on a show, but I wasn't complaining.

Shan- -27? Holy cow! I thought 27 was bad....I can't even imagine -27. BRRR


Just talked with my supervisor she offered me a sizable pay raise for staying on (I don'tant to post my salary online). Someone is pretty conent right now!!  Although it is still a bit lower than industry average for the industry I am working in, it is alright. and much better than most people make straight out of college.

Hey ladies. 

I started this sucky day off at the doctors office and getting fussed at by the receptionist because I was late.  I mixed up my dental appointment (which is tomorrow- JOY) with my doctor's appointment.  I am sorry I was late!  It was a mistake! Things happen.  Then I gave her my tri-care information to which she said "UMMM we don't take that, so do you still want to see the doctor?"  Really?  UGH.  I said no I will just submit later.  OMG what in the world. 

Then I got stuck behind every retried person at UPS trying to mail Christmas packages.  All I wanted to do was pick up wine.  To bad I am at work or I would have broken into said wine.

I got stuck in a down pour.  Where was my umbrella you ask?  In my office.  I am wet and now cold.  OH JOY!!!

I just want to go home and put my head under the covers and cry.  The tears are right on the surface and I am not sure that they won't just fall out at any point.

Hike- I couldn't remember the word "restoration" last night to save my life. As in: The church that I've gone to in my hometown and want to get married in is undergoing restoration through Holy Week. Not that I would probably get married before Lent, but I did have a little cry.

It's rainy here, but really humid. I think we'll hit 75 today. Yes, it's December and I've run my heat for a total of 2 days. The A/C is on now. Grrrrrr.

Crown: That sucks, hope today gets better and there is wine tonight.

I'm having a pretty good Tuesday. I just started working in the Children's Hospital and OMG the kids are so stinkin' cute!!!! And I found out last night that FI has officially put in his paperwork for terminal leave, so he will be home for good by Christmas!!!! Now if only the Marine Reserves recruiter would ever call him back, life would be all set. It annoys me that someone whose job it is to recruit people will not ever answer the phone or return messages. What good does that do anybody?!?

Everyone talking weather- holy crap -27 sounds awful! O.o So far so good on our weather front.. I mean.. it's grey skies... but no rain, and in the low 40s so I'll take it. Seattle is known for people getting SAD, which is why soooo many people tan and are  hyped up on coffee every day here. lol. I'm surprised that OK is getting so bad? I didn't realize that it could be that way down there!

That made me giggle. And thanks, he's got the Air National Guard literally just about begging him to join, but with that Marine mentality, he really wants to talk to somebody in the Reserves first and see what they have to offer because he would much rather stay as a Marine. Whatever, it's his deal and he'll work it out. But thanks for the support for my military whine! :-)

Good morning!  Well late morning at least.  H is off today and getting in all his video game playing that he can.  Plus we need to do a few things around the house to get ready for the movers that I can't/won't do myself, like take the TV in our bedroom off the wall mount and take the wall mount down.  

D-day is super close now, but I'm surprisingly really okay with it.  I'm ready for it to just start so that it can end already!

ETA:  Dang computer sent it before I wanted to.  

Shan I totally don't miss wind chill factor!  Those are the days that our dog would step one foot outside and then turn right back and come inside the house.
