Oh my gosh spiffy, I was taking a drink of my Mikes Hard and almost spit it out laughing when reading the Salt N Peppa suggestion!! My FI's best friend here is done w/ the Navy and moving back to his home state tomorrow. So he came over, I made them my homemade alfredo, now they are playin some craptastic alien-killing video game. Guys are wierd. So I'm hanging out w/ kitteh Binx in "his" room, and just got off the phone w/ my BFF.

Can I join the "I don't like beer" club? I've tried to convince myself that I can eventually learn to like it, but now I'm just like "nah, I'll stick to wine or hard liquor"... more often wine though. Mmmmm, I love me a good red. I wish I could be doing that instead of studying for this dang test.

I've spent my day studying; I'm starting to feel like I might be semi-competent, but I'm still kinda freaking out that I scheduled my test so soon (But I need to get it going, and if I don't just do it, then I won't. ... I'm a terrible procrastinator sometimes). 

I'm skyping with FI looking at wedding venues, yay  

aaaaaaaand the 200 flowers he sent me are blooming and they are beautimus (they were buds when I got them, barely opened)

Hike-  I will make it a point to go there next time!  Is it crazy busy around breakfast?  That sounds so good.  I want pancakes now.  My brother always says we should go to Primanti Bros as well but we never do.  I've heard mixed feelings about it.

Binx- alfredo sounds good!

Can you tell I'm watching what I eat.  Anything not healthy sounds delicious to me. haha

The more the merrier in the I don't like beer club.

I just can't get past that taste. I'll try them, I'll always have a sip of FI's. But I can't drink it. Uck. I do love me some wine. I've been hooked on a good cab lately. But I do love a petite sirah. Or a good reisling. I love wine.

Yay for skype dates and looking at venues! Are you having the wedding in VA fire? It'll be perfect in May (i think you said May right? Because mine is 121 days.. so that'd be about May time)

Actually, the ingredients I use in my alfredo are all low-fat or fat-free, so it's not that awful for you! I mean, still not awesome for you, but not nearly as bad as what you'd get at, say, Olive Garden. And honestly, I think mine tastes better. But I am also biased cuz after serving there for 2 years in college, I give OG a big finger lol

First of all, I'm still totally jealous of the flowers. :)

Secondly, don't freak yourself out over the test! That's seriously the worst thing you can do, it just destroys your confidence and makes everything seem a million times worse!!!  How long do you have before you take it?

My favorites are cab and merlot, although I've been drinking a lot of zinfadel lately too. I've never tried a sirah, maybe I should look into that...

Hike-That is awesome!  They have one in Grove City now but I refuse to go to it.  I'd like my first Primanti Bros experience to be at the original one.  The only bar I've been into down there is Saddleridge.  A couple of my girlfriends and I went down for some line dancing.  It was sooo much fun!

Mel - If you are near a Trader Joe's I highly recommend their Blue Fin Petite Sirah not to mention its only like $3 or $4! Love Trader Joes! I haven't tried a merlot yet, I'm a little worried it'll be too much like licking a sidewalk. But I might pick it up a try it soon. I've never had a red zinfindal either, I did start off on the white zinfindale when I first started drinking wine.

I can only drink two brands of beer.  Straub and Corona.  I haven't had Yingling in a long time but I'd be willing to try it again.

Spiffy-The Bieb's song is totally what popped in my head when I read that post too!!!

I'm suffering through some serious cramps!  Dang BC.  I've officially been on orthotricyclen-lo for like right at 25 days so it's time for my period, and I swear to bob I haven't had cramps this bad since I was a kiddo.  Bleh.

Has anyone used the AHRN for a PCS? I should probably make my own thread for this, but I'm far to lazy ATM..

I just wanted to say that I love you all!! I would probably cry every other day from missing H, especially now that he's on days, which are my nights, so he's up when I'm sleeping, and he's sleeping when I'm up, So thanks Ladies for providing me with lots of laughs and giggles and shoulders to lean on when need be..

amh - Little Black Dress merlot was the first one I had, I love it! And it's also pretty cheap... like $7 or $8 here, but MS is a little weird about alcohol, so it might be cheaper for you!

And now, I really have to go and study for my test tomorrow. National board exam on psychiatry. Gag. Not to mention the department told us today that this is the board that the most medical students fail.

fire - you have plenty of time! Just study your butt off between now and then. I promise, I speak from experience when I say this is the kind of thing you just have to bite the bullet and do. You're never going to feel completely ready, but you will end up being more prepared than you think!

And thank you on the hard@ss doctor comment, I like to think I will be.

Thats how we did it, we've done everything completely backwards, heck i booked my florist before I booked my venue. lol. And there definitely isn't a thing as a bad wine. :)

That sucks! I'm sorry... ibuprofen and heating pads make it better though! Oh, and my BFF did that exact same thing when she first started BC, but after the first one she didn't have that problem again. Hopefully that gives you a little bit of a silver lining in the ickiness!

Hahaha... umm I think like 2? Lol. I was a kid obviously. But it has that dry taste, like your licking a sidewalk. I know I'm totally random, but it's great! :)

Oh, I like the idea of a female Dr. House! I'm so tired of psych. It seriously takes a special kind of person to do that on a daily basis. Thankfully, the test tomorrow will be the end of my 6 week experience there!

sami- that sucks about the cramps. I can't say much about orthotricyclin... one of my best friends conceived twins while she was taking it religiously.... 

I have horrible, terrible cramps and ridiculous bleeding (tmi I know) but that ended up meaning that I got an IUD for medical reasons; just doubles as BC, so I'm good, we won't really have to worry about BC until July 2015...

I used to be anti beer... but I really did force myself to like it. I cant just drink anything, though. Coors is ok with me because of FI, otherwise its fancy beer for me.

I just spent 8 hours after my classes doing hw. One hw assignment.. screw you math 541.
My brain is fried... and I just got home and H is already asleep (it's not even 7pm here) because he has a  crazy early brief... *sigh*
I'm whiney...
I need wine.

(it gives me headaches too if I have a little too much, but I can't help but drink it...  haha)
