I'm around for a bit I'm catching up on work, trying to feel better, and soon playing some video games.

(1) Favorite Christmas Carol/Song: I really am a fan of the traditional Christmas music, I think one of my favorites is 'O Holy Night' and the drummer boy song.
(2) Least Favorite Christmas Carol/Song: I really don't like the newer modern ones - there's a horrible version of 'I saw mommy kissing Santa' on the radio here- uck.

Hi!  Sorry I never got back to you yesterday Shan, it was an emotional morning and day.  But I'm super excited to hear about your updates, and I hope everything goes great with it!

H is gone now, and it's been an emotional few days.  Then yesterday I got some news that my Papa (mom's dad) had a spot found on his lung and has to go see a specialist.  This is after he just had major heart surgery a few months ago.  Needless to say, I had a very rough night and will be drinking lots tonight!

Oh and my favorite Christmas song is Baby It's Cold Outside, specifically the version by Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson.  Divorce schimorce.

My shameful other favorite is Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You.  One reason I like it so much is because it's also in the movie Love Actually which is one of my favorite movies. 

My least favorite is probably Grandma got run over by a reindeer.  It's just annoying.

Hey ladies! I was actually just thinking about starting a thread. I'm home alone since H is on duty again. I just finished having dinner and some wine, and not have nothing to do, there's nothing on TV for me to see!

Beach: Aww, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandpa, hopefully he is okay. I know you've had a rought couple of days, get your drink on!

Hi everyone! I'm just hanging around waiting for the Steeler game to start. There's also a huge pens game on so I'll be switching back and forth. H is working late again tonight so I'm snuggling with the pups. Beach- I was thinking about you today. Hope all is well. Favorite song: The Christmas Song (chestnuts roasting) and also Happy Christmas by John Lennon. Least: anything new. I am traditional when it comes to Christmas music.

I read about that months ago, so I have had some time to process it. At first I was mortified and felt bad for Dover AFB because they do awesome things but now this is what they will be known for. Of course it makes me sad, but I also believe that our body is solely an earth thing and we continue long after so that brings me some peace. I know it's been fixed and the people responsible have been held liable. At this point there is really nothing else that can be done.

Bodies as a whole were not dumped, but tissue, some bone fragments, and some ashes where thrown away. Now they are dispensing of them at sea. According to the first article I read it is not uncommon in cremation for parts of remains to be thrown away. The whole thing came to light when remains were lost.

Hi! Just popping in quick because FI got back home today after being gone this week, so he's super clingy! Fave song: "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, also partly because it was in "Love Actually"!! For a classic, even though I'm now atheist, I love "Silent Night"...gives me warm fuzzies! Least favorite: I guess "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer"...obnoxious. i was just thinking about fav christmas songs on my way home from work.  mine is white christmas by bing crosby.    my least fav has to feliz navidad...no im not racist it is just sooooo repetative.  i never knew i saw mommy kissing santa clause was so scandalous.  pardon my lack of punctuation but my phone wont do exclamation points.  stupid phone.

My dad brought down 2 things of coffee for me, and only a little bit of one left now. I miss it soooo much! Dunkin donuts is not the same. I would love to have a cafe mocha right now.

Ooh, I gladly stand corrected!  There are 2 in the Norfolk and VA Beach area!   Neither close enough to our house for a morning run, and both are with Coldstone, but I'm glad they are there at least!
