Yeah H is ship's company.  It would definitely be harder to be Sea Opt Det so I get not wanting to do that again.  Is your FI on shore duty now?

Beachy - Yeah he's on shore duty now. I think the one thing that made him the most annoyed about it all; was busting his butt out on the ship and coming back and getting zero recongition for it since he was gone and didn't have face time. not to mention they didn't excatly do things as they were supposed to, but oh well thats the Navy for you.

Kara - Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to be super careful about them. I only have to take them for 10 days so I'm just going to really really watch what I eat and make sure I stay active about it; not to mention drink lots of water. I wouldn't normally do it, but part of me is absolutely terrified that I am going to look like this on my wedding day. Ughhh

Anyone see that Virgina Tech had another shooting? I'll be catching that on the news tonight for sure.

Shan - I did. It really breaks my heart. I had a couple good friends head there for college, who are there now and it definitely had my heart a little pumped. I remember their first shooting, it was really really sad. I hate hearing anything like this happening, but esp since its Virginia Tech it made me really sad.

I didn't realize it was so late. My group forgot to turn in 10 pages of our capstone paper (the presentation slides).... and it is past the deadline to upload it to the website. So... I emailed it our professor and explained what happened. I haven't heard back, but he is the sort of asss that would probably not allow us to turn it in...*crossing fingers*.

Sorry I missed this last night!  You ladies make me smile, because on any other board, it would have to be some kind of drama to make a thread 4 pages (at least with as few regular posters as we have).

Shan, I think Missy needs to meet Sasha.  I think they'd be friends!  Mine is laying right up next to me right now and if I move, she looks at me like, "Where are you going?  I was comfortable!" And then shifts closer to me again.

I reallllllllllllly want FI to have an overseas post!  I'd be thrilled to go to Korea for 3 years, even with all the restrictions.  Japan, anywhere in Europe, Latin America, Asia, really, I just want to GO!  I love living overseas, and it was always a big plus of FI joining the Marines that we had the chance to live overseas maybe.  But my top top top choice would be Germany, if we ever have the chance.

I do want to be state-side when I give birth to my kids, though.  And I really NEVER want to go to Hawaii.  Is that weird?  I don't even have a desire to visit for a vacation.  That might change if we're stationed in San Diego, where it's a shorter flight, but from here I'd much rather go to Latin America for beaches.

haha I like like a lot you ladies picked Justin Bieber for your worst. I personally am not a fan I wish he would pull up his damn pants. However, when I was young I LOVED *NYSNC so I think it's good for young girls to have a young artist to love.

I'm late on this, but one of the sites I read every day, Jezebel, is doing a bracket voting system (like March Madness) to vote for the worst Christmas songs, including the worst versions. It is hilarious. Especially the comments. But it's a total crock, because everyone knows that "Christmas Shoes" is the worst Christmas song ever. Even worse than "Dominick the Donkey" which I heard for the first time last night.

Cal-I'm with you, I have never had the slightest urge to go to Hawaii. FI is filling out his top 25 or whatever of places he'd like to be stationed with this new job. I just said that I don't prefer Hawaii or Japan, but Turkey would be awesome.
