 I'm originally from VT. Most people tell me I'm a "hippy at heart". I work hard as a full time make up artist and go to school full time at night pursuing a degree in Child Psychology. We love snuggling on the couch with take out and a bottle of wine and usually can't make it though a movie if it's started after 8pm but we're also up for dressing up and going out down town. SO has a vegetable garden and we started a big flower garden in the backyard. I bought SO a lemon tree as a gift on his 6 month anniversary of not smoking to add to the garden, so each year as the tree grows and the fruit blossoms he can remember his strength and perseverance.

This will be my second wedding. I eloped in Nevada to a man in the military and a year later had a wedding. The ex got out of the military that same year and started medical school. I worked two jobs putting him through school and then he left me. It was a miserable, abusive marriage and i never wanted to get married or be with a man again....until now.

'm the first person in my family to finish college, let alone go for a PhD. I have a giant Koi fish tattooed on my right side (According to Japanese legend, if a koi succeeded in climbing the falls at a point called 'Dragon Gate on the Yellow River' it would be transformed into a dragon. Based on that legend, it became a symbol of worldly aspiration and advancement.) to symbolize perseverence and remind me of how far I've come.

After learning English, I thought that two languages were not enough and have been learning more languages.
