Mine wasn't too bad, Football (college and professional) sucked but I guess baseball kind of made up for it. Last night was pretty interesting though, I ended up sending this text to a friend:11:25pm "[BF] drank an 18 today and went to bed at 9...he just woke up took the canister out of the vacuum and tried to cuddle it laying the wrong way on the bed then he was hot so i had to open the window wrestle him out of his shirt and go downstairs to get him water and he needed a tissue then another tissue then wanted the score on the current baseball and football games. then passed back out. i deserve a cookie. lol"

    Yes I think we were watching the same teams.  Boo Giants but Yay Yankees. Why was your BF cuddling a vacuum canister?  I'm confused.

    Dude, my FI does the strangest things sometimes and then doesn't remember the next morning. It's funny.My weekend was fine. Busy as always. Friday we went out to eat as usual, then went to clean cat cages for the rescue group, then had an argument.Saturday we went to see a possible venue, which I love, then I went to volunteer but FI insisted on picking me up early, which made me mad. We went to visit our friends who had a baby last week, and that was great.Then FI and I got home and talked about why we were frustrated with each other and told each other how we felt and whatnot... and came to agreements on how to solve the problems and make each other feel appreciated and included. I'm so glad we can do that without forking over tons of money for a therapist!Sunday we went grocery shopping and then came home and played video games and cuddled with our cats.So, it was a blah weekend.Only 3 more weeks until my mom comes to visit, though! YAY!

    Well, of COURSE I deserve a cookie! FI did bake cookies last night... I think he was trying to suck up after telling me Saturday night that he felt like he couldn't tell me things I don't want to hear because I get very mad and start cussing and yelling. And there's no stopping me until I've burnt myself out.So, that made me cry, and he felt bad. Then he said I am a big ball of emotions and he loves me, and we decided from now on if I start getting irrationally angry, we are going to take a 20-minute time out for me to cool down before we talk about the problem.And why am I telling everyone this?Because I am very happy that even though I am a big ball of emotions and he is totally logical and doesn't say anything if he can't say something nice, my FI and I can work things out in a healthy way.So yes, cookies for everyone! I am getting married to a wonderful awesome guy! YAY again!

    Fights happen.  I'm glad you guys were able to find a solution. My weekend was good.  Besides sport watching we went to a 30th birthday party extravaganza so most of Saturday afternoon was spent finding a fabulous dress.  :-)

    Friday~ Cleaned the house and hung out with weekend guests.Saturday~ Made huge breakfast for said guests.  Tailgated.  Football game.  Came home and hung out again with guests.Sunday~ Lunch with guests before they left town.  Work until 6:30.  Dinner and movie night with a friend while BF played video games.Really *really* uneventful weekend.  But aside from the work part it was fairly relaxing.

    I have the opposite problem, I am not emotional and FI is.  The weekend was pretty craptastic.  FFIL is in the hospital getting treatments for cancer that spread throughout his body.  Very sad.  :-(

    Haha, not yet Button!  I have yet to enter a store.  It's becoming an issue, yikes!  I did buy some spanx to wear under my new fabulous non-wedding dress so maybe that will give me a little push to rip the bandaid.

    Pink I'm really sorry to hear that.* passes out more wine *It's not the same at all but I'm sad too b/c my puppy (who isn't a puppy anymore at 15) is in surgery today getting her teeth fixed and a toe amputated and I'm scared she's too old to wake up when they put her under. :-(

    NQB  - when are you getting married? I have only looked online and here is a Monday confession:  I am traumatized to try on dresses in front of people because my brain is saturated with images of toothpick models in the styles that I like.

    I'm keeping my fingers called. My mom was calling me with updates but I haven't heard from her in a while so I keep doing that thing where I check to see if the phone is still working and then wonder if I just missed her call by doing that. I'd love to get caught drinking on the job then I could go home and stop pretending that I actually have any kind of focus today. lol

    Aww, Button! Best wishes for your puppy. I hope everything turns out fine!And Pink, that's a really sad and tough thing to go through. Your FI is really lucky to have someone level-headed to lean on during such a rough time with his dad.NQB-- call and make an appointment for this week SOMEWHERE right now. Think about what sort of experience you want. Do you want a consultant who can walk you through the whole trying-on process, or do you want to be left alone to do it yourself (ie: smaller boutique on a weekday or David's Bridal on a saturday)? Who's gonna go with you? Take a small (1 or 2 person) support group (moms, sisters, or best friends work great) and drink some alcoholic beverages before you go to relax and encourage the good times to roll.I get it, I am so done with trying on dresses... but you NEED to. After you get into the first dress and look fabulous, it gets a lot more fun! I was so scared I'd look awful and chubby... and I didn't!

    Pink, seriously, the models are nothing more than clothes hangers. Dresses look GREAT on real girls like us! I'll post a comparison after this commercial break.

    NQB and Pink~ Not only did I have the same fears of being awful and chubby as Jeana said, but it was TOM so I was nice and bloated, *and* I wore purple underwear to the store and completely forgot my spanx that I had been planning to wear to try and smooth me out (and cover said purple underwear).  None of my fears came true, and I'm sure you'll both have an equally great visit to the stores.  :)

    Well, mine are off-brand spanx from Wal-mart.  I have regular ones as well (but in a different style), but honestly I don't like them as much as the off-brand ones.  I'm guessing I should've just splurged and gotten the style that's the same as my off-brand spanx for a proper comparison.  Oh well.
