So, H and I are going to Dworld in a few weeks to support our friend running a marathon.

1) I've never been to Dworld, and I am excited.

2) It might be practically free!

H is a pilot, so we are hoping to hop flights down there. The runner has a timeshare at Dworld, so we are staying with her for free. AND our other friend had an internship there, so she's working her magic to get us into the park for free. SCORE!

    My old roomie just finished an internship there!  He just got home Friday.


    ETA: You're in CA, I'm talking about FL, so I think that's Disneyland.  I get 'em backwards.

    ETA2: You're in San Antonio, not San Francisco.  Texas, not Cali.  Really, I'm halfway done with my coffee, I'll get it right soon...

    Oh, I'm meeting with a banker today to start the home buying process.

    I'm just checking on what I can get pre-approved for, but it's exciting!

    She's actually in Maryland now, but TK won't change it for some reason.

    And the race I'm guessing you're going to, Hetshup, is the Disney Princess Half Marathon.  That's the thing I'm most looking forward to right now, also!  It'll be a really fun weekend, and the culmination of 4 months of training.

    YAY Hetshup! I know someone that has an internship at the one in Florida right now! I can never remember which is called what but anyways...Can I come too?

    Nothing too exciting here. My BF just taught our Korean roommate (Troy - your H may remember him) the word krunk. I know that's not awesome but it's the best I have.

    Dworld is huge and spans several parks.  I haven't been to Dworld in like 13 years so II'm sure the rides have changed a lot.    I like to  think of disneyland and california adventure park as condensed versions.

    I'm thinking about going back to school? I have a campus tour today and see what they can do to help me out financially.

    Also, DWorld rocks. Go watch "Illuminations" at Epcot.

    Oh awesome thing that's happening.... FI and I put a deposit down for a ski in/ski out condo in Mammoth Mouintain for a snowboarding trip the first weekend of March, 4 days of snowboarding and 3 nights of drinking and partying.  I'm training for that as we speak.

    How awesome!  I going to DW for the first time ever (to anythind Disney) in May with bf's family.  I'm super excited!  Although, it will NOT be completely free, it will still be a blast.

    Hey for those of you going to DW... in case you didn't know you can book reservations for various restaurants on their website really easy and it's a good idea if you want to go to some of the more popular restaurants.

    If you want to go to any of the table restaurants this is always a great idea because most book up seating way ahead of time (especially say Character dinning, dinner shows, and Epcot restaurants).  You can also call 407-WDW-DINE to make dining reservations.

    Stay still, I can't keep up.

    ...And I got pre-approved.  So, theoretically, if we wanted to buy the house that we just kinda glanced at, we could. We aren't neccesarily serious about that one, I just needed to do this today to kind of get some perspective and stuff.

    Wrkn, congrats on being pre-approved! Yay!

    My awesomeness for the day is that the state of Minnesota apparently has a rockin' healthcare program I can apply for that would only cost me about $50/month. It would cover doc visits, hospital, dental, and, TADA! Counseling! I have an appointment to go in and apply a week from today. Which means I'd better go take that computer test for my MN driver's license, like, yesterday.

    Seriously...if this thing comes through, my life would drastically improve. Zomg. Pleasepleaseprettyplease.

    Yay for DWorld - never been, so jealous...make sure you get lots of pictures of Goofy for me!

    Awesomeness for me...we're having dinner tonight with a cousin I haven't seen in 20 years - so excited.  And, one of the residents in the community that FI is a security guard for is comping us a show on the Strip as a wedding present - so excited for that.

    Yay for everybody's awesomeness!

    Hetshup, I went to WDW a few years ago and had an absolute blast! It was soo much fun :)

    Awesomeness on my end is that I have just over 500 days until I finish my undergrad. I feel like it was just yesterday that I looked at my countdown and it said 1016 (which was the day I made it), so this is a huge deal for me. The end is really in sight now, since I only have 2 more class terms after this one, and 2 term of co-op work (which is paid). It's kind of OMGholycrapi'm-gonna-be-an-adult scary, but suuper exciting. Now I just need to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. Hmmm....
