Confessions/I Judge/Un Pop Ops (Come play with meeeee!)

Re: Confessions/I Judge/Un Pop Ops (Come play with meeeee!)

  • Confession - I'm supposed to go out to lunch with BF and I'm still in my PJs.  So I better get a move on.

Confession - I too get jealous when people who have been together for significantly less time than BF and I have get engaged/married.  But as time goes on, just about every single person that gets engaged/married has been with their SO for less time.  So its starting to turn into "when will it be my turn?" in my head every time a friend gets engaged.  It doesn't bother BF at all, he thinks that many people can happily be together and not get married for a long time.  We are very happy together, but I don't want to wait forever.

I'm going to demand that you do. How the hell did you even find those?!

  • kaitlyn I totally feel you on the whining of when will it be our turn.  It doesn't seem to bother BF as much as it does me.  I wonder sometimes if it's bc he has a plan in place ( I don't even know if he has a ring yet) or if it's more of his live life in the now. I'm so happy right now, especially since we just took a huge step, but we're getting older and if he wants kids he can't wait forever.  I wouldn't even care if the bio clock was such a factor.

  • I'm getting close to 25, so I keep reminding myself I'm still young. But as time goes on I get tired of the comments when people ask how long we've been together. A lot of our married friends usually start off with "wow, you've been together longer than we have even known each other!" I keep trying to be patient, I know there isn't a ring yet so its not happening soon. I just have mega cramps today so its put me in a mood.

I worked from home yesterday and spent a solid two hours watching Honey Boo Boo. I do not find that to be an unpop op, JenJen :)

Confession: I'm coming to the end of my rope of being supportive of DH regarding his work situation. He's beyond frustrated, it severely affects his training, which then negatively affects his mood. We've had long conversations about when and if we'll move back east. When I told him that I'd gladly stay here another 3-5 years to give him time to find a new job and work there for awhile, his resonse was 'Ok, but I'm going to at least stay in my current until March, or May.' Um, NO. I can't handle general pissiness for the next 7-9 months just so you can get a bonus.

Confession: I'm getting flabbier and flabbier and just can't seem to get motivated to do anything about it. The scale hasn't seemed to catch up yet, but it's going to be ugly when it does.

PrincessJas: Michelle Obama isn't the President. I think it's totally acceptable for her to have an inspiring ideological speech. She can leave the 'action' to her husband.

ETA: My now-DH was my BF from age 32 to 36. It never once bothered me to call him BF.

I hate when people make really rude an insensitive comments to people about their relationships.  Sorry.

  • Confession: I compare  myself to some of my friends and it makes me see myself as a loser and a chub.  I know better than to do that but I can't help it.  It just makes me want to go home sit on the couch and eat bad things, which will cause a vicious loathing cycle.  This is nothing out of the ordinary I know.  Everyone is different and we all perceive things different;y.  But I still feel like crap.

Confession: I"m jealous of friends that go out often.  I want to go out and have fun, but between taking care of Maus and working on the house.  We don't have time and money to go out much.  THO I was never really the type to go out often I actually like being at home, but I think I think this is a case of the "don't haves".

Up pop OP: Well not sure... but I really dislike people who put those car eyelashes on the headlight of their cars.  I just want to go over and rip them off.

  • Confession: I must be in a funk because some of the unpop ops on this thread annoyed me - not a good thing, haha.

Truth be told, I've been in a funk all week.

Confession #2: My sister is planning a wedding in like...4 months or so.  I'm glad it will be over soon, but I'm also feeling like I'm missing out on a lot of the sistery stuff we could be planning together.  She practically had everything done the week after she got engaged.  This is just more reason for me NOT to pre-plan.

Confession #3:  Sometimes, I think I should just elope.  BF's dad tells us we should all the time.  But obviously, I can't elope and have a fun family get together either.  And I'm a hostess at heart, so gotta have a nice dinner and dancing day together too.

Un Pop Op (on this board, apparently): I've never used the term "boyfriend" in a relationship that wasn't serious.  So um, my boyfriend and I will continue to be BF/GF until we are FI/FI.  That sucks that it's FI/FI.  Who is who?!

PC Comment: If my children end up half as ignorant as the area we live in, they will be grounded forever.  That is simply not acceptable.  Do I want to slap people a lot here?  Yes.  Thankfully, I don't slap them (I'm over 18, isn't that assault? lol)

Confession #4:  I kinda really want jury duty next year.  I know I talked about this already this week.
I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton

BF's dad does something similar occasionally. Sometimes he refers to me as his daughter-in-law or when he is talking to BF's brother about me he will refer to me as 'your sister-in-law'. I think if it was all the time it would freak me out but it's so rare that I don't really mind it.

The last time I was over there he showed me a song he said we have to play at our wedding 'if you guys ever get married' - I didn't know quite how to take that.

  • My patients seem to think I'm married even though I don't wear a ring. I have no idea where they got this. Some also think my name is Madison. It's... not.

  • Confession: While I'm really happy to be on an assignment where I actually have stuff to do instead of sitting around and waiting for the phone to ring, I'm now exhausted and want to go home.  I'm tired of testing users for the new website rollout.

I judge: Pretty much anyone and everyone lately.  I'm on a bitchy kick.  I need to snap out of it, but I just DGAF right now.

I confess: I went and bought a charger for my phone at CVS this afternoon.  I'm going to return it as soon as I leave here because I cannot stomach spending $15 on a USB cable.  I will probably be purchasing a package of peanut butter M&Ms for my commute home though.  And to that, I tell my workout to eff off.

UO: I don't have one right now. Pfft.

[QUOTE]Confession - I am totally and completely irritated at work today.  I want to bite everyone's head off but of course I cant.  I work for a small business and they annouced they are selling so i know it's because I'm freaking out about my job status. confession: I'm working on my resume at work and my friend sent me an email regarding a possible opening in Texas..where I really want to be (yay!) confession:  BF isn't doing enough (IMO of course) to get us both to Texas and I have decided I am moving with or without him.  I love all junky reality TV so that can't ever be an UO.

  • Confession:  I'm not happy.  My job is a shitshow and I fight the overwhelming urge to walk out DAILY.  My relationship has been better.  H and I haven't seen or spent much quality time since we got back from the honeymoon.  We've been arguing about a dog that we adopted and now we're taking back.  I applied for a new job and am nervous as hell that I won't get it...and I REALLY want it.
