    Elle: I'm the mom who hollers "Hustle Hustle Hustle!! Good effort! ATTACK THE BALL!" at Little Bean. And then high fives the shIit outta him for after awesome plays. I played as a kid and I would kill to get back on the field, but I've had 2 knee surgeries, and I'm kinda chicken right now.

    I hear you.  I played indoor last summer after being off the field for several years, and it took several games before I started getting confidence back.  I'm terrified of re-injuring my knees, too.

    I'm sure it varies, but in most of the leagues I've played for in my "adult years" (aka since leaving select and high school clubs), women only play has been a lot more competitive and vicious than coed.  The coed teams seem to be mainly made up of just groups of friends who were like "hey, let's try playing soccer!" whereas the women's teams were made of girls who had played together for years and were <em>good</em>. 

    So maybe don't be afraid to give coed a shot?

    So I'll be at work & can't take off because I'm off a couple days the week after that & also Friday the 23rd is Hunger Games which I already bought tickets for :(

    Liv/Elle:  They're taking things slowly right now but seeing what happens basically.  

    Liv: I made plans with the 4 girls I went to Grand Cayman with. While we were away all of us were reading 1 of the 3 books either for the 1st or 2nd time so it kind of became a theme so we promised to see it together when it came out & bought our tickets already.

    I bought my tickets a couple weeks ago. Donald's brother and bro's gf are coming up and gf is going to read book between now and then and then go see movie with me. She bought a ticket tonight! YAY! I mean, I wasn't ashamed or scared of going alone. I was prepared to, but psyched that I have someone to go with now! She better like it as much as I do, or I'm gonna be sad.
