Tux rentals from MW

So today we had our tux appointment to choose the tuxedos and the guy asked us where we want to pick up the tuxedos and I asked him when will we pick them up and he told us September 8th (I was thinking that's  a little early) and our wedding is November 10th.

FI looked at the pamphlet he gave us and the pickup date says November 8th but our wedding is in Vegas and we're leaving to Vegas November 8th.

I've never dealt with tuxedo rentals before so I have no idea when exactly we're supposed to pick them up. I would have called them back but FI didn't notice it until they were already closed, but I will call them tomorrow. When are you supposed to pick them up? A couple of days before the wedding? If so how would we know the fit and what if they don't fit right?

If your wedding is in Vegas, it might be easier to pick them up in Vegas (if you have a car, or if there is a location within walking distance of where you are staying).   

I would think you'd pick them up a day or two before the wedding at the earliest.

Yes, Sept is too early, but you need to call them back and make sure to confirm everything!

And yes I would make arrangements to pick them up in Vegas and return them in Vegas. This way you dont need to travel with them, it's why we chose MW because of the locations.But, they have to have this information so the tuxes in your WP size is available in Vegas.

Typically with Men's Warehouse you are supposed to pick them up 2 days before the wedding. For you yes that would be November 8th. If he said September he just messed up.

Ditto PP, I would pick them up in Vegas. If you REALLY want them before the actual trip I'd talk to them and see if you can pick up a day or 2 early. But be prepared for them to charge you more. Also they are due back the day after the wedding so make sure you can find a MW in Vegas.

You'll want to pick them up in Las Vegas. Why pay for early pick up, extra checked baggage, not to mention the possiblity of the airline losing the tuxedos? Pick up and return in Las Vegas to alleviate a lot of problems and expense.

Thank you everyone! Most of the wedding party will be driving (including us) only 1 will be flying in and that's my older brother so everyone will have transportation to pick them up with.

I just wasn't positive on how that works but now I know. I'll call them once they open. Thank you again!

I agree. I would make arrangements with a MW in Las Vegas for pick-up & drop-off of the suits.
