I want to combine these 2 dresses!

I have 2 dresses that I LOVE and I want to mash them into one but I can't afford a custom gown!

They are:

http://www.partypop.com/Forums/images/507306.jpg

The Mikaella I love because of the colour, the rouching on top, the neckline and the fun flower. It just screams FUN party dress to me. Especially with some great layered beads and sexy, messy hair. Totally my style!

The Madeira I love because of the bottom - I love the "peek-a-boo" lace and tulle! This one is too "formal" for our wedding and the colour is not right for the venue.

If we were having a formal wedding, I think I would just go with the Madeira but with the beading and the coloring, it's just not right.

Any ideas that has a combo of these dresses?

eta: I really want the fit n' flare style...something with a tie-up back would be ideal.

Have you checked out dodressme.com? I've heard that they are based out of China, but they make knock off designer dresses at low prices. Maybe you can email them to see if they can combine the two dresses. There is a post about them on this board on the second or third page, I saw it yesterday. I didn't really read the post but you can check them out

    Good Luck!!

DD had the bodice one Allure dress put on the skirt of another. The price to have it done (by Allure) was $100

I really like the 1511 but it's too mermaid...I need more of the fit n' flare where the top only comes to the hip. My thighs are too big and the mermaid and trumpets aren't comfortable. Keep me posted if you find something!!

I don't think the second one is too formal at all. It depends on how you accessorize I think! Do they not offer it in different colors?

No it only comes in the one colour. I found another one online that I'm hoping one of the salons here has in stock so I can try it on this weekend!

I love the first one as well. The second one is pretty, but if you think the first one is your style and the style of the wedding why not just get that one? If you really want something with lace, maybe find a hair accessory with lace or shoes with lace.
