How many times did you find "the one" before you actually found "the one"? (hope that makes sense)

just once...it was the second dress i tried on but didnt want to make the decision until i tried on more. after about 25 dresses i knew that was the one!!! i always compared them all to my jovi. :)GL

i tried on 30 dresses. they were all very pretty but i thought they all made me look fat. so at the last store they made me flip through there catelog and find four i liked. I three i really like and then one the girls at the store picked out for me. The one they picked out was hurendous. LOL. But it was really close with the three. but i really chose my one becuase it made me look the skinniest lol.

Just once- and it was actually the first dress I tried on. I still tried on a bunch of others from that store, but I couldn't help but keep going back to the first dress.

I'm like misskris, the first one I tried on was "the one". I tried on 5 or 6 others after that, but none of them had the magic of the first one. I was able to look at myself in the mirror and say to myself "This is it. This is the dress I'm going to marry Will in."

Only once. I tried on my mother's dress, and then 2 others in the store before finding "the one" and stopping my search. My friend tried on about 3 (out of about 20 she tried on) she thought were "the one" before she found "the actual one," though.

I ask because I thought I found the one before, but then changed my mind after looking at pics of me in.. looked, found the one again.. and now not sure!ahh but I am trying it on again soon.

Hehe...you sound like me I thought that I found "the one" and actually bought it! After thinking about for about a month, I realized that it was gorgeous, but not "me" and thus, not "the one." I was lucky that I got a full refund! I looked through tons and tons of pictures and found "the real one" and tried it on. I LOVED it when I tried it on but I then tried on about 25 more after that to make sure. In the end, I am SUPER happy with my decision and finally have "THE ONE!"

I've yet to find "the one"...but I thought I found it about 3 times. The first time I was advised to keep looking because it was so far away from my wedding. The second one my grandma didn't like because the sweetheart neckline was too low for her and showed too much cleavage (I actually went back to try on the dress again and tuckthe girls in to show that how you lace the back makes a differnce...she didn't care), and the third was one of the three I posted a week or two ago that a lot of you commented on...but now, I just don't know! haha, so you are not alone!
