My bridal shower is next Saturday and I have no idea what to wear. I don't usually wear dresses because I'm a little on the heavy side and most dresses are not flattering on me. Do you think I should wear a dress to my bridal shower? If not, what are some other options? I've actually never been to a bridal shower so I don't even know what the guests should wear, let alone the bride! It's being held on a Saturday afternoon in a church hall.
Re: What to wear to my bridal shower?
Honestly the best thing you can wear is a smile. A happy smiling bride is all that people want to see at a shower and at a wedding. Dress in something that you feel comfortable in.
Also very important to consider: Don't show cleavage. A shower is the only time to cover up the boobs because you are bending over a lot and in front of everyone to pick up gifts and if you have cleavage showing it really pops out during gifts. ha-ha something I never thought about but my MOG said many times how much she liked my dress because it was high necked and how that is her pet peeve at showers.
