The girls in my wedding party live in different cities. I was told by 3 different stores that all the dresses need to be ordered from the same store because the fabric used to make the dresses could be slightly different from one place to the next. One of my bridesmaids is telling me this is a lie. Is it? How have others ordered the bridesmaids dresses?
Re: Bridesmaids dresses when they live all over
Miss Mrs.
Try DB, Alfred Angelo, etc.
But it was a little different, we ordered through the designer's boutique instead of bridal stores b/c we got a discount. Plus several of the girls didn't have a store that carried the brand close to them.

My BM dresses are silk shantung, which seems to very in color easily.

They each got measured by a tailor/seamstress, then we ordered from Pearl's Place in LA. Same "dye lot" (supposedly) & saved a lot of money.

[QUOTE]I wouldn't worry but just to throw it out there, my BMs lived in differrent parts of the country; after deciding on the designer in our case, Jordan), the girls went to store to try on Jordan styles, find one they liked... We're doing this as well. All girls are picking out their own dress and getting measured, then sending in their measurements to a store in Cincinnati. The store also notified me of a sale, so that all of my girls are getting a 10% discount.
Then they will ship the dress out the girls when it comes in. I did this for a wedding 5 years ago and it worked great.
