Cha, I'll be thinking about you and DS tomorrow. I had the surgery when I was 7. It was rough from what I remember, but I felt SOOO much better after.

ETA: This was also 15+ years ago and things have changed. And my family SUCKS when it comes to anesthesia..

That's no fun cha. It doesn't matter what kind of surgery it is you have every right to worry. Edmund will have to have 2 by the time he is one. It is really stressful thinking about it. I hope that everything goes well and that this fixes whatever is up with his ears.

No, I guess that he was trying to make a point that his father is MR. whatever and he is now DOCTOR whatever.

I get wanting the respect, and that it takes a lot of hard work and all to get your doctorate. I'm all for giving credit where credit is due. But I took another one of his classes last semester and he was MR then. Its not like he made an announcement that he now had his doctorate, so I addressed him the same way I did last semester. I was quite confused when I had a reply from his father... I think his dad was a little confused, too. Haha.

I can't believe he actually sent the email to his father.  That guy sounds like a major asshole.  In fact, I think you should start calling him everything but doctor, including things like Major, Colonel, Master, The Honorable, etc.

Random:  Since I got married n'shiit, I don't get any magazines (I got Brides) and now I miss having a magazine surprise me with it's happy little pages in my mailbox once a month.  I want a new one, and I want it to be about home making; decorating, cooking, that sort of girly crap.  Anybody got any suggestions?  I'm leaning more towards decorating rather than cooking right now.
