My sister is BSC and there's no way I'd tolerate that BS. My mom died and they can't have anyone in their House of Horrors because they're hoarders. So, shiva had to be at my house last night. On sat, my father, sister, and brother came to my house to discuss arrangements, she opened her big mouth once and I told her to get the F out of my house- that she was lucky she was invited in to begin with. You either suffer bullsh*t quietly or you don't. I don't believe in "just because you're family" gives anyone a pass for anything. If I was adopted, I wouldn't know her, and no one could use the "blood is thicker than water" thing. IMO, it's either that you're willing to suffer her opinions and BS or not. No need for background or excuses, just cut and dried. To me, if I wouldn't pick you for a friend- then I don't give a crap that you're family. It's over- Buh-bye. No sympathy. My sister is an angry, miserable, spiteful, abrasive person. I have no interest in being around that toxicity. If you just let it go and be 'peacekeeper" I feel like that gives her the idea that she's "right". Why should she have to change if she's still catered to? I wouldn't let my sister stay in my house if she was homeless.
