At one of the gay clubs I work at there is a "leather room" upstairs.  There are alot of assless chaps up in there.  I dont go up there during the night.  When they told me they have to turn the lights on every 15 min to stop the hand-whammys and what not going on, I vowed to never step foot in there.

Its the type of place you could get pregnant at just passing through.......

There's worse, but I've learned to quickly avert my eyes, so that eveything looks like a skintone blur.  I can't deal with seeing too much.  I've also been groped more in gay bars than straight ones.

Its not for the faint of heart, or people with closed minds.  I had always thought I understood the gay community before I worked in it.  I didnt realize there were so many levels to human sexuality and that gay could mean so many different things.  I had never had any problem with homosexuality, obviously, but I didnt realize it was so complex.

I absolutely, completely do NOT mean to be a wet blanket, but you might want to google your city, gay bars, and bachelorette parties and see what the popular opinion is. In Chicago, it wasn't exactly against the law to go to a gay bar for a bahelorette party, but it was very, very strongly discouraged. A few establishements felt that it was disrespectful, given that their patrons can't legally marry in that state, and some of the rowdier b-party groups were treating the bar like a zoo or something to be made fun of.

 I'm positive you guys would be nothing but respectful and a blast to hang out with, but one of my friends tried to go to a gay bar for her b-party and they were turned away at the door, which really upset her. So, if your city is all good with it, have a great time! I would just hate for anyone's b-party to be awkward or un-fun.
