Uh yeah chels, you're gonna have to post that recipe.
Posted by AllAboutTheBenjamin
2 pkgs <3 oz /> cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
dash salt
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 pastry shell with high fluted edge, <9" />, baked
1 pkg <3 oz /> raspberry flavored gelatin (I sometimes use cherry, it's a yummy combination)
1-1/4 cups boiling water
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 pkg <10 oz /> frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed

In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and salt until light and fluffy. Fold in cream. Spread half into pie shell. Chill 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, dissolve gelatin in water. Add lemon juice and raspberries. Carefully spoon half over cream cheese layer. Chill until set, about 30 minutes.

Set aside the remaining gelatin mixture at room temperature. Carefully spread remaining cream cheese mix over top of pie. Top with remaining gelatin.

Chill until firm.

I'm sorry. and You're welcome.

Killing spiders is a man job. Most of the men in my life know that if I call for them to do a man job, there's a spider involved. They know their place.

LP, I would have been bawling had I been your mom.  I even cried when a suicidal pigeon flew into the grill of my car.

Sorry Celles, spiders need to go.  But I do apologize to them now when I kill them (thanks Sesh).

I cried one time when I hit a pheasant. He just kind of flew/jumped right into me and there was a "phooosh" of feathers. It was so sad. I've never hit anything else, thank god.

Hi! That sounds really scary. Did you have to wait a while to retake it?
We had a minor hiccup because the car I was supposed to take my test in got recalled for accelerating erratically without cause, so I had to restart it about 10 times before we could get going. I only barely passed, but I chalk that up to my inability to parallel park more than the squirrel incident.

Haha. Best prepare yourself for the walk across the bridge.

Oh god I don't know if I could forgive myself for running over a duckling. How awful. Sidenote - H was working in one of his yards and found a bluejay, dead, on a branch. Like, just chilling on the branch, feet wrapped around the branch, perfectly in tact, dead. He snapped off the branch and put bird and branch into our freezer. It's a beautiful bird, and big for a jay.

My uncle had a pet python when I was little :) Monty Python.  Yeah.

I'm convinced there is a massive snake den in my parent's  backyard.  My mom will go to the backyard in the summer months and kill snakes for hours.  She just pummels them to death with a garden trowel and then throws them into the trees.  She took me back there to show me one time and while she was looking for snakes, THREE of them flew up out of the ground right between my feet.  I just about shiit myself and then she just went to town on them like a madwoman.  THAT was psychologically damaging, lol.

I think they just changed the law here, but when I was 14 in North Dakota, yeah, after 8th grade you take driver's ed and get your license.  You used to be able to get your permit at 12 if you lived on a farm but when I turned 12 they changed that law to 14, so I drove around the farm illegally for a couple more years!

Isn't it true that if you're about to hit a deer/moose/elk, that you shouldn't swerve, you should speed up?

I was driving in the car with my sister and niece one time on a back country road and there was a squirrel right in the middle of it quite a ways down. My sister goes "Look Ashley, a cute little squirrel" and we expected it to run out of the way as we approached. Nope. My sister then said "Auntie Mehgan just killed it. That's the circle of life".
