They have different suites and room packages, so for a family of several people it could be that expensive. I honestly have never checked.

I complain about DH's job(s) and his hours sometimes, but we are able to do SO MUCH with his connections and exposure that I shut up real quick-like. I am grateful for all he does for us. He's pretty awesome.

Morning guys!

FI and I finally saw Letters to Juliet last night - I had wanted to see it a month ago but things were too busy - and I was actually really pleased by it. It certainly wasn't Oscar-worthy, but it's nice to see a romantic film that actually gets the job done once in a while. Also, my mom kinda looks like Vanessa Redgrave, and FI looks a lot like Gael Garcia Bernal, so I sort of felt like I was hanging out with friends.

On Twilight: I'm making FI go see Eclipse for some reason. Last summer, he was all gaga over Twilight, and he made me read the books so that I would be up to speed. Of course I thought they were pretty much the dumbest thing ever, and also offensive for all the feminist reasons, but I've been rather amused by all the hype. Now FI's kind of tired of the whole thing, but I think we should stick it out with the movies, because seeing that dumbshit dramatized is amusing. At least more amusing than the A-Team, which FI made me see.

I'm exhausted today (mostly emotional)  FI's uncle passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night from a car crash.  This is the first time he's had to deal with a family member passing... unfortunately, I know exactly what he's going through and I'm just trying to be there for him.    My heart is broken for him and his family.

On a plus side, I finally get to meet his dad.  His dad lives in Houston, TX and he's flying in tonight.  Crappy circumstances but at least I get to meet him and the rest of his side...

Letters to Juliet was adorable! I love that movie. I feel about the same way about Twilight, Sarah. It is amusing to see it on the big screen, and I thoroughly researched every angle of Alice's hair so that by November I should have it grown out to her style.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Future. My grandmother died in a car crash about seven years ago and I remember that it was such a shock.

Ha! Is Breaking Dawn coming in November already? Oh, dear. Perhaps I'll research drinking giant cups of blood and then throwing up all over the living room. :)

Oh, I have no idea when Breaking Dawn is coming out. I just want Alice's hair, and I figure it will have to grow until fall and then I'll cut it like hers by then. :) I'm not one of those people who goes to movies in costume. LMAO! Although, I did throw one hell of a HP party for the very first movie, and took 20 kids to see it in robes of the different houses that the sorting hat assigned when they arrived. But they were 9 years old.

That's awesome. FI likes to go to movies in costume - he dressed as a pirate for the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean movies (I joined him for the third), and he has a series of capes that he wears to big fantasy openings. He also may or may not have had the cops called on him and his friends when they were in high school because their lightsaber fight on the Star Wars ticket line got out of hand. :)

Have they decided whether or not to make Breaking Dawn into a movie? I personally disliked that book.  Beyond the creepiness, the whole story/writing just didn't seem to flow with the first three books.

I do hope, however, for a scene of pillows being bitten and headboards breaking.

We just had Chloe's bday party at our movie theater last Saturday for Alice and Wonderland. My MOM made her cake, and showed up at the party dressed as the Mad Hatter. She's ridiculously awesome.

I'm here, barely. Just getting geared up at work but my allergies are so bad again and I feel crappy. I just got over a cold so I'm mad, now.

Tonight we are going to a DJ showcase and hopefully picking a DJ and signing a contract. I desperately want to check this off our damn endless list of things that still need to be done for the wedding. Does it ever end? I feel like I have a second job. Did/does anyone else feel that way? Now I see why people are willing to spend $$$ on wedding planners/coordinators.
