I can't remember where this thread was, I just looked... but the one where the boyfriend of the BM touched/whatevered the bride's boob annoyed me. I think It was StephBean (?) who said something along the lines of be careful how to approach the situation because it could be a friendship ending move (I think she wanted it so he didn't come or they were both not invited? gah horrible memory and I can't find it). The man touched her titty, and the BM didn't care because they were in an open relationship or something like that. If that was me, I would be pissed. I don't care if my friend is in an open relationship with her man or not but they should respect my boundaries and if they cannot they can go screw.
    Posted by lbarr088
Yes! That was StephBean. Usually I agree with her on stuff, but I found it really weird that she was more or less suggesting to the OP to just let it go.

Maybe I need to go back and re-read it, but based on what I read from the OP, the guy did it on purpose and very clearly on purpose. Idk it sounds really shady to me all around.
  • I suppose this is a confession? Blueeyeddramatix or whatever annoys the piss out of me and I'm not exactly sure why. H and I have waited 3 years to get a dog and we're so close to being ready. She just got a golden retriever puppy and it made me pathetically jealous. It obviously shouldn't matter and the puppy got a (hopefully) good home, but it still makes me sad that we're not able to have a dog at this point. If it were anyone else that would have gotten a new puppy I'd be thrilled for them, but she just drives me bonkers.
This is a lame one but Tifffannieeeeeee posted this on our month board. <clicky. She was asking for advice about if she and H should buy a house. She admitted to a certain amount of debt and even being in collections. When everyone advised her of their concerns regarding her financial stability she was all "ZOMG! Totes, I know! Thanks for the great advise. So should I like, let H apply for a home loan?" She might be the stupidest person I have ever 'met' on TK.
In Response to Re: AYG? : No, I know she said he intentionally did the ice cube down her shirt but when I first read it, I thought the boob touch was accidental. That was what I was trying to say. Because putting an ice cube down someone's shirt is a stupid, immature joke and not really funny. But that's not the same as grabbing someone's breast and being inappropriate. Same story. It might just be that when I say I grazed something, I usually mean unintentional contact where others read it and OP meant it as just a light touch. I've seen 4 variations of your post. Let's see how many are showing by the time I actually click post.

  • Oh, Tiffanie. Bless her heart.

I find everything that she posts to be super irritating, including the " This concerns me. Like 'in the closet' concern." or something like that during the thread about impotence on E.
  • I don't see the post anymore, but duds I agree about the girl on E - being told she had to invite the SIL who made sexual advances toward the OP's FI, yet boob-touch girl got a pass (as I stated in the thread).

That was one case that made me roll my eyes hard at the party lines.

Totally agree. FSIL or not, some people suck and don't need to be invited. Someone who tries to sleep with my FI is one of them.

  • This is more of an I don't get it, but Girlie rubbed me the wrong way with the "I've never voted because I don't take time to educate myself." You don't have to be a super nerd and follow every debate and news article, but giving up an hour or so a year to educate yourself on issues and candidates shouldn't be that hard. I know a lot of people don't vote, but I just don't get how anyone can not care about anything at all and feel like voting isn't important.

  • It bugs the piss out of me that I can always count on Edie to be the first poster in a thread and her response is almost always a quote of the OP with a one sentence question. I don't know why it bugs me so much, but it just seems pointless. Like she is assuming that they are going to DD and she can be the hero for quoting.
  • Edie likes to ask a lot of questions.

  • Until recently (the past 2-3 years) I wasn't remotely interested in politics and didn't care. I judge now that I do care but I do kinda get it. Politics can be confusing and aren't for everyone. I think a lot of people feel indifferent to them, atleast here in canada based on voter turnout.
