[QUOTE]That's awesome, Nebb. I have a lot of respect for people who go for something big like that and make it work. And I'm so happy to "see" (wtf?) all of you. I realized that my post was totally Debbie Downer, especially considering that I'm feeling ever so much better now. After a day like that, I like to burn off my nervous energy by going out, but I don't quite have the balls to out completely on my own (H is working late). But I get to drink with all of you...woo! And Sarah, your description of the chair made me CQTM. Btw, we got our plane tickets to come back in early December! We need to get together :)

[QUOTE]I'm not drinking, but I am watching My Big Friggin Wedding so I feel like I'm drinking because these girls make my head hurt. cupcakes, I'll trade you uteruses. Mine is retroverted (upside down, I guess?) so I get horrible back pain. I'll take the other stuff over that. Maybe. What are you sitting on in this exact minute? the couch What are you drinking/eating in this exact minute? nothing, but I'm considering grabbing a cherry Dr. Pepper What's something about you that none of us knows? the only shirts with sleeves that I own (short sleeves, not long for winter) are my work shirts. Everything else are tank tops and spaghetti straps.

Ugh, that sucks. Sorry to hear it. My mom has it, so I'm sure I will too starting in my thirties. She also went through some kind of pre-menopause or whatever they call it in her thirties, and so did my grandma, so yay for what I have to look forward to. Seriously, why couldn't my mom pass down something awesome, like the world's most perfect boobs? Instead I'm stuck with woman problems and the longest toes ever.

Thanks Nebb! I've missed being around here and seeing y'all. I'm glad to have a full-time job, but it's exhausting and I usually just zone out when I get back. I'm not going without a fight, though!

I'm here, just finished watching Paranormal Activity which was totally lame and not scary.  So now I'm watching last night's Austin and Santino and wanting a butterfly dress.  BUTTERFLIES!!!!!!

    And now to catch up:

I have not watched any Christmas movies recently.  I am not drinking anything.  I will hate my uterus next week (for my effing birthday.) but that means I will not have to hate my uterus the week after for my dress fitting.  I will need to go back to find Poli's questions...

    Poli's questions:

I'm "lounging" on our brown leather couch.  None of our living room furniture matches.  Undecided

I am not eating or drinking anything but I had a baked potato and Dr Pepper for dinner!

    I am apparently a badass.  :D

I will! I've never been to Oregon (at all), but I'm willing to move blindly if it means getting out of here. And FI's brother lives in Salem, and his niece's live in Klamath Falls, so we keep meaning to get up there soon.

Mocha, google it and watch the trailer. I'm not sure if it's really something you can describe, at least not so that it makes sense. It was done in the faux-documentary style of Blair Witch Project, but to me, it just scared me to the core. I've always been terrified by the concept of possession, even as an adult. It just hits on all of my biggest fears.

[QUOTE]Cupcakes, the 14th!  You said that was your fiance's right? Poli, I am not a badass, haha.  I think there was just too much hype and I was kind of over it before I saw it. The idea definitely scares me, but the movie didn't.  I like the alternate ending better, too.

I kind of love that dress. I have a butterfly wing charm that I need to make a necklace out of still.

Also, random fact. "Butterfly" is "Kamama" in Cherokee. Kamama is also the word for Elephant, just pronounced slightly different. I know this only because it's my Cherokee name. Well, Little Butterly.

Kim, everyone already knew you were a badass. That doesn't count!

Reddy, please tell me more about this monarch-themed wedding. I'm really curious.

I should answer my own poll, I suppose...

-I'm sitting on our bed/couch (I say that because we don't have a couch yet because I don't trust fabric-covered furniture if I don't know who owned it before and we have no business buying furniture now)
-I'm drinking nothing, but I'm about to have some wine
-I'm listening to disco right now

I liked Paranormal Activity, but I was sort of bored with it. The second one, however, scared the shiit out of me. It was done so much better than the first.

Hola! I am sitting in H's favorite recliner (he's out of town, I'm a Football Widow), drinking cheap pinot noir, and feeling good about myself because most of you are also drinking alone ;) I did resist the urge to order Chinese so that's my accomplishment for the night.

I kinda really like that monarch one too.  Not something that is probably really wearable, but it's got the fashion as art appeal to me.  If you showed me that when I was 8, I'd be over the moon in love with it.  I loved monarchs so much I made my mom grow milkweed in the garden so I could have caterpillars and then butterflys.

J hid his head in my back the whole time we watched Paranormal Activity. We were both crammed on the couch together because he wouldn't let me sit on the other side of the room from him. He told me he would kill me if I ever told anyone.

His family was born and raised in Sonoma County. Nobody had left until FI's brother. He joined the Marines, and then the Army, and now he's deployed in Afghanistan, working for a Private Security Company (not in MIlitary anymore, technically.)..

I'm not sure why he moved up there, I think his wife is from Oregon. They live in NW Salem. Is that any better? haha.
