There has been an influx of over-eager newbs.  I find them to be a little too much and annoying at times.  Bookerich or whoever comes to mind.

You obviously didn't care enough to stick around and talk to people here.  I should note that this isn't just directed at CCF. I see it a lot from people who 'disappear' for a few weeks/months.

It seems that anything that doesn't fall under Nebb's "approved to be fun and interesting" topic list lately has been immediately bashed and made out as stupid (explicitly sometimes, but not always).  And that really sucks because it makes her not as fun or interesting.

Yeah, I'm gonna ditto Pirate on that one. I love you Nebb, but... seriously. If you don't like what we're talking about, just change the subject or ignore the conversation. Hunger Games comes out this weekend. People are going to talk about. I've still seen Mad Men or TWD brought up about 152x more than Hunger Games.

ETA: but this is a cyclical conversation too. Because I don't think you shouldn't be able to point it out. I just also don't think people can't call you on it. Circle circle circle.

I don't post alot but, I lurk ALOT. My grievance is with all these new posters. I can understand when they come and post about something that we all know the correct answer to. But, it's really annoying when new posters answer questions or validate bad ideas with some kind of authority.

I dont know.  Yes Nebb has always been like that and I do see it too, but I also dont blame her.  The board has only been on a few topics the last few weeks:

Meal Plans/Cooking
Buying Houses/ Being domestic

Its been really boring.

Also- the suicide thread.  I found it annoying that when I said it didnt happen at all in my town with school kids, people we all fucking silly about it.  I didnt say it NEVER happens ANYWHERE.  I said it doesnt happen here.  Because it doesnt.  Or at least it didnt when I was in school.  We had our fair share of problems here, but suicide isnt one of them.

It felt like I was being accused of lying.
