One of my great grandmothers names was Delia which I love. I also would love to use Lia as either a first name or middle (pronounced Lee-ah). The other relatives are Grace, Faith, Mary (sensing a theme?), Florence. Guys are Buzz (Sheridan), Joseph, Frank, Roger All of the guys have the same middle name, Allen, and same last name. My great grandfather had to go through his life with the initials F.A.G. My dad is RAG, grandpa SAG.

Delia is my sister's name. Who interestingly enough had a baby today. :)
• Catherine Grace and Alexandra Elise.  A boy would have been Martin Russell or Robert Martin

• Katie- I love Delia!

Loraine is a family name for FI, and I love how it sounds with Rhannon. :)
• I love all of your names
For me:
Girls-Carsyn (Carsen) Miriam, Charlotte Miriam, Delaney Miriam or Carla Miriam
Boys: Mason Carl
middle names are family names.  I need more boys names.

Aww! That's so cute! It's Irish and means full of goodness. If you have a Declan, he'll be as cute as a button!
Well it's good to see you. What are you majoring in? How is Declan?
Posted by jasmineh7777
It's for my MBA degree, but I'm concentrating in Sustainability and Marketing.

Declan is great! He's almost entering the terrible twos, having mini meltdowns when he doesn't get his toast RIGHTNOW, but, other than that he's doing really well!

How are you? What's new?

• Mikkaylah Lynn
Alexandra Lee
Jaysen David
Blake Alexander

Thats what we like so far. Hopefully we wont have 4, but we've got them picked out if we do!

I love some of the names you ladies have picked out!
image
• We actually don't have any girl names picked out....still hoping for all boys

Wesley Mitchell
Oscar Jackson
Delbert Lance

Delbert is a family name, and part of me says nooooooo, but it's growing on me now and I kind of like it.  FI is ok with it too

• Sustainability and Marketing? Wow, I think you could see that fly right above my head! ;)

I actually go back to school in two weeks. Eek. I am holding auditions for my kid's theatre group soon, so that is exciting. And I need to start looking at grad schools.

Declan is cute enough to get away with some terrible two behavior.
image
• Aw! A kids theater group! That sounds like so much fun! :)

I gave him cereal for breakfast tonight cause he asked for it. He just melted my heart! I couldn't help it.

What will you go to grad school for?
image
• Clinical Psychology, I work with kids that have autism so I'll be going in to behavior analysis.

Declan is seriously going to be a little heartbreaker by the time he's in kindergarten. You've got good genes Kate. I vote you give the world some more kids someday in the future. We can always use more good looking people. :P
image
• Aw! That's great! :) I hope you enjoy it!

Oh gosh, and I was hoping I was done with kids! Haha! Thanks though, I think he's a cutie too. Maybe tomorrow I'll AW pics of him :)

I'm off to bed though so gnight! Good to talk to you again!

• When I had my daughter in 1987 I almost named her Chloe.  (She is a Sydney).  I still love the name but won't use it since it is one of the top ten most popular and also one of the most popular dog names.  I also love Olivia but hesitant for the same reason.  I am a Jennifer and hated growing up surrounded by a bunch of other Jennifers.

Our boy name is picked out...Cruz.
Girl name...
Grace
Noelle
Sascha (can't use that now!)
Natasha
uhhh...I can't think.  I want a one syllable name, that a cool artsy fashion chick would have...but having trouble thinking of one.
Baby baby baby *bounces around the room* Alexander Alan Kaylee Elizabeth or Cassandra Elizabeth (aka Cassie) I just have to make sure the initials don't end up being ASS lol
Posted by katiewhompus
I wish my parents had actually named me Cassandra.  My name is just Cassie, which i don't mind, but surprisingly, a lot of people don't know how to say it.  If they see it written, they always pronounce it Casey, and if I say it, they always say Cathy.  It can get really annoying sometimes.  That and when I was younger my mom always called me Sassy Cassie...I hated it.  At least with the full version you have the option of introducing yourself as Cassandra and say you go by Cassie for short, at least then people probably catch the S's in there.

• Sascha,

How about Luz? Not just because it rhymes with Cruz.

• Sascha- its not 1 syllable but we used to like Edie, as in Sedgewick

• Sascha, I noticed you in the TTC post the other day. If you don't mind my asking, are you ttc? (Feel free to tell me to stfu).

• Brady Thomas for a boy
and
EmilyAnn Louise for a girl (hopefully last name will be short, if it's longer then like 7 letters I'll take the "Ann" off of Emily)

• Cruz like "cruise"...so Luz would not be good, haha.  But I like Lux, like the character in Virgin Suicides.

Edie is cool, which reminded me I like Evan for a girl too.

And yes, I am sort of TTC...meaning I am not trying to not conceive anymore:)  Off my BCP last month!

• Matthew Chase if FI will let me. I like Gabrielle, but I'm having a hard time finding a middle name that flows the way I want to with it.

I dated 3 Jason's so that one is a no go.

• I have SO wanted to start one of these posts recently (but have avoided baby posts knowing that we do them so constantly!) because H and I have had no luck choosing a boy's name, despite going through a whole baby book and spending hours on end researching online. We just can't find one that we both like (mostly because he only likes names that aren't even names, like 'Voltron', or names of characters in sci fi shows or from The Wire). I've told him we're not going off contraception until this is sorted- but we've decided I'll go off the pill in November, so time is running out!

ANYWAY, girls name: Adelaide Rose.

Boy's middle name, Johann, after Nick's grandfather (and Nick's middle name). No clue on first name, though. Not Voltron!
