Marissa -- yes ma'am! We lived in the Boston area for three years while Michael was in grad school. I LOVED it. It truly is one of the most beautiful places in the country I'd ever seen. But Rene is also right...the winters are BRUTAL. I'd actually like to live in an area that was a little colder--although, as I mentioned in another thread, I didn't like how cold it was in Chicago. I think I would be more okay with it if the overall landscape was prettier. Chicago reminds me a lot of Texas--very flat and plain (though I guess there are some wooded areas)Jay and I have always dreamed of moving to Denver

I'd like to move also, but more on a temporary basis.   I'd like for FI or I to get a job where we can transfer around.   Texas will always be my real home though.

I would like to teach more than accounts payable but am scared to do it because a lot of people on here can't find teaching jobs. And I want to teach dance at the same time. When I go get food I tell myself to go to subway and get a salad but I never have the self discipline to do it and it makes me sad.I am really disappointed that I will only be playing a part in Nine and not being able to dance as well like I originally thought. A part of me is glad though because that's less things I have to worry about as the show is one week after my wedding. I am dance captain though. Once I can start helping more in that role I think I will be less sad about it.I really feel like a debbie downer lately and I'm tired of giving the excuse it's because I'm stressed/have way to many things going on even though it's true.

I have a feeling that one day Mo is going to want to move back home (GA). If he came home right now and said that, I have no idea what I would say. I am terrified of going some where knowing no one because I am not the most sociable person, and pretty shy. However, at the same time, I LOVE his family. They are such wonderful people and treat me as their own. They are quite a bit older than my parents, actually closer to my grandparents age and lets face it, they are not going to be around forever, so I wouldn't mind being able to spend more time with them.. especially if/when we decide to have children.

yeah I don't talk about it much. I lived in LA for 6 years and loved it! My area was like a small little town, but 20 minutes away is the beach, 30 minutes away are mountains.  night life was great. miss it a lot.

This doesn't really belong here, but I guess it is the most appropriate thread today...these chocolate bars are sugar free and only have 193 calories/bar and are SOOOO freakin' good. I paid $2.99 for just one at the health food store, though. http://www.netrition.com/lc_specialties_choco_bars.htmlTHat's only 4 WW points, ladies

I'd totally move to Mill Valley, CA in a heartbeat.  No second thoughts, just pack up and move. I FINALLY put my gym membership on "freeze"...I haven't been to the gym in 10 months...So yes, I was paying $30 a month for NOTHING. For 10 months.  I could think of a few things right now that I could have bought with that extra $300.  I don't know why it took me 10 months to finally call and freeze the account.  Though, I should probably just cancel because I have no idea how we'll be able to afford a gym membership when we start making house payments.

I visited Boston once and LOVED the city, but hated driving around it.  I know I could never live there though, because FI and I are not cold-weather people, at least not on a long-term basis.  I'd rather sweat nine months out of the year than have a winter that lasts very far past January.I guess my confession is that I had Sonic for lunch and ate it all.  Looks like Lizzie is getting an extra-long walk tonight!

If I wasn't SO dependant on my free insurance I have at my job, I would find a different one. But I'm stuck because there is no way I can afford to keep going to the chiro as much as I am without insurance. And I NEED to keep going unfortunately. I would like my job better if I was doing what I was actually HIRED to do in the first place.

I follow almost all of the cast of The Hills on Twitter.I admit it.*hangs head in shame*

one of my best guy friends was on a show on MTV called 24/7.  And he hangs out with the hills people sometimes, but won't sign the paper to let it be aired.  It's really funny because Heidi would get all trashed and stupid and they couldn't air it because my friend wouldn't sign the form...

I've been sitting at the computer all day when I should definitely be cleaning or working out. I've had zero motivation to do either lately.

I have never read "Where the Wild Things Are" and I'm not really sure what all the hype is about.

Stephen had his 2 year eval at work today. They said that he hasnt been in the right places with the flow chart and that hes not doing his job very well. They know good and well that he works his booty off everyday and he has people all the time saying how great he's doing. He came home for lunch today, and I felt like telling him to just quit. I just wanna call up to his work at tell his 2 bosses off. HUMPH.

Clinique Eye Makeup Remover. It's a cream you just rub on your eyes and take a cotton ball or towel and wipe it off. That's all. No water which is best for me...I hate water on my face lol

I use Clinique Take the Day off eye makeup remover
  • edited December 2011
Two votes for Clinique.. sounds like a winner! I think my mom uses that too and we both have pretty sensitive skin.

I think that, while sometimes Michael C. Hall, can resemble a gorilla (from certain angles-his face), I think he is super hot and would love to see him naked.  No joke.

I have no idea who Michael C Hall is.

Mariah, I actually think the exact same thing about MCH. Hub's favorite TV show of all time is Six Feet Under, so I've seen LOTS of that gorilla-esque mouth area.

I'm glad someone else sees it!  One day I was like, 'what does he remind me of...." and it hit me.  :)  But his body looks super delicious.

Marissa - Have you ever been to Nashville? I bet you'd like it here. It is sooo beautiful, and there are tons of hospitals, the health industry is really big here. Allison - I like Maybelline Expert Eyes makeup remover. It's oil free but it makes my skin feel soft. I use a little on a q-tip to get off remnants of eyeliner. And cheaper than Clinique, I'm sure! My confession is that I'd really love to stay here in Nashville or come home to Dallas. But I had a great phone interview with a school in Miami today. The position is great, the benefits are good, the vacation time is awesome! But two things are holding me back: I feel guilty about making Courts move away from home (although he has never said anything to make me feel that way), and I don't know how I feel about the hot weather. All. year. long. I at least need fake seasons, like in Texas.

Oh, I also have to confess that I ate some of my roommate's Nutella when I got home. She said to help myself to anything in the kitchen, but I don't ever eat her food. But it was calling to me.
