ok mine is an AW and confession... I got a 10% raise even though we are on salary freeze because I have taken over 2 peoples jobs and I think they know that I could make more somewhere else with my degrees. I want to be excited and shout it to the world but no one else got anything so I can't say anything but I am glad because we have some real dum dums in my department!

OMG, 10% is awesome!  I'd kill for that much of a raise.  Congratulations!

I have really enjoyediving in different places (grew up in CA, college in NH, moved to DC/NoVA for two years, moved here last year, I'm thinking the Northwest might be next). This is the first time I moved somewhere where I didn't know anyone. It's taken me a year to build social relationships with work folks, and I'm finally getting to know DH's school friends better. It was a rough year, but now I'm liking it and we'll stay for a while.

There's the country song with the lyrics that say:"hell yes, I love my truck and mustard on my fries". WTF?  Who on earth puts mustard on their fries??  That grosses me out.

Lol Mariah. Mo puts mustard on his fries.

Better mustard than mayo in my opinion.

To all the girls talking about trying a new part of the country, I say go for it! I grew up in Alabama, Indiana (yes it is pretty horrible) and Florida. Went to South Carolina for college (without knowing a soul) and then FI and I moved out here when I got a job in summer 2008 (again didn't know a soul).I'll admit it's hard - I'm not overly social either, so making new friendships has always been hard, but the adventure of it is great!! FI and I love Texas, Florida is my second favorite. The Charleston area is South Carolina is also amazing!I'm not a big cold weather fan, so I'm not sure where we'd go next if we were to move again, but I don't foresee that happening any time soon since we just bought out house. But really, if the opportunity arises, go for it!

fries with ranch is AWESOME!! lol. Stephen doesnt want to move out of Texas. He wants to be close to his family, but I want to live a little! lol. Stay in different states for a few months(or a year). But he wont have it. I'm thinking if I ask him if we can move to colorado, then he'll be all for it lol

bananna--I've never been to Nashville, just Memphis (which is too close to Mississippi imo) I have been to Asheville and northern GA, which I think has sort of the same scenery and I loved both!

I ate like crap this weekend.  It's like I don't care that I am getting married in 12 days!I LOVE Nashville!  That's the only place (other than Texas) I'd consider living.  I miss traveling for work but there is no where I'd raise kids other than the south.
