I haven't! I posted in the San Diego board a few months ago, and I got a lot of suggestions there too. I appreciate any help I get.

I signed up for the San Diego groupon emails, and I've bought 1 so far. I haven't really figured anything else out yet because I haven't even been able to think past all the stuff before we leave, haha. I'm hoping that I'll be able to plan more things out when August gets closer.

Looks like you got some good suggestions! If you go to Ocean Beach, have fish tacos at South Beach, at the end of Newport Street. And for live music, definitely Belly Up in Solana Beach, or places like the Casbah - pick up a Reader at any little shop downtown when you get in to find out who is playing. Definitely have a cocktail at the Hotel Del one day, too - that is where we got engaged!
