Getting in Shape

Intro

I've been lurking on this board for the past few weeks to get some tips on working out/eating healthier.  I'm trying to get up the motivation to get in better shape/tone up before the wedding (and for other things)  

A little bit about myself...I lost 28 pounds over the past year using the Weight Watchers program.  I made Lifetime this past January and have maintained my weight pretty steadily.  My current goal is to get back into the good habits I learned while I was actively trying to lose weight (eating healthier and regular workouts).  I work as a server and am on my feet constantly moving all day, so it's been pretty easy to keep from gaining weight, but I struggle with my food choices.  I eat a lot of take out and greasy food at work (I work at a wings place).

Also, I'm going into the Air Force later this year and need to up my physical fitness routine to be able to survive the physical training part of basic training.

    Healthy habits are already so hard to create... add in that you work at a deliciously greasy food place.. That's rough. I can relate... I worked at Starbucks for 4 years and dang that delicious pastry case!!

    I remember that even when I would pack my breakfast, snacks, lunches, etc if I was craving that chocochip cookie... I was going to give into it. It's just too easy! I had to start bringing stuff that would fill that craving.. Like a pudding cup so I don't touch the cookie, or a chicken wrap so that I don't crave their santa fe chicken sandwich, etc.  It was hard but I slowly stopped eating the bad stuff :) You can do it! What are you weaknesses at your work?
