Help finding Sheet Music for Strings/String Quartet

We selected Hymne by Vangelis for the Procession of our Wedding Party however our String Quartet doesnt have the sheet music for it but are willing to play it for us if I can find it. I have been all around the internet to sheet music sites, etc and I keep striking out - A lot of sheet music for purchase just not this particular song. Also have found recordings of this song by string quartets - just not the sheet music. I have found it for a solo piano but thats about it. Looking for any String Variation as they are willing to arrange it if its not for a string quartet specifically.

If anyone else by chance happens to know of a site/person etc that has a large collection of sheet music available for strings (and possibly this song) and is willing to share please let me know.

Thanks!

I even checked my school's music library to see if they had it. Nada.

Someone from the string quartet you listened to probably arranged it their self. Do you have a college with a school of music near you? You can find a composition major who will arrange it for you if you give them access to the piano music and a recording. If you do this soon before the school year gets too hectic, they could probably accomplish this is a few days.

Judging from the piano lead sheets I've seen online. Shouldn't take a senior or grad comp student too long to crank out, but you should be prepared to pay at $100-150 for their services. Ask the SQ when they need the music, then set a date with the arranger that is a week or two before the SQ's deadline. Give the arranger the contact information for the SQ, and vice versa. This way, the SQ can have a chance to look over the arrangement ahead of time and call the arranger if there are issues or questions.

BTW, here is a legal disclaimer: You should get the permission of EMI publishing to create an arrangement before you go ahead with the project.
