FFF

I am starting FFF super early because I have to flame myself.

I am sitting here crying as I watch Greys Anatomy and I am not sure if it is because I am sad that Callie may die or because I am emotional because they are singing (a horrible version) of our first dance song.  I think a bit of both.  Crazy wedding emotions.

I love this show, haven't cried like this since I thought Derek was gonna die. Flame away...haha

I'm sorry I'm laughing as I read that. I can't believe I'm watching this. I think I'm not crying because that singing is making me laugh.

The singing is awful but the song is meaningful for me and I love the show minus the singing.  Glee is the only musical sitcom I can handle.

I was a big ball of emotions when I was a week out from my wedding too! It'll pass in a few days and turn into "I'm so over this wedding" which will then change into "that was  the best day of our life"!

Yeah I think the singing just ruined the potential tonight's episode had. The upcoming eps look intense though. I count on Greys for my weekly cry to keep my emotions in check. I need to find something else to get it out this week.

I was like, "Why is this starting early?"  However, it's Friday somewhere.  I never had any interest in Grey's.  At least on Glee, you know they have musical talent.  :-P

And a wedding message board is not the place to try to prove a political point. If you care so much about something, get off the computer and go do something about it.

I'm glad this started early :)  It is Friday right now, so its not really early for me :)

I wont be around tomorrow, its Granny Day! Her markers went from 2000 when she found out about the cancer in November, to 500 a little over a month ago.  Her markers are now down to 150!!!!  I don't understand what that means, but I can tell she is doing so well!.  But the tumor is still huge.  She looks 5 months preggers on her little 120lb frame. :(  I forever flame my Granny's cancer :(
But I am so excited that she is excited about my wedding, and has been talking about finding a Grandmother of the Bride dress *tears*

I also flame FI's work... I understand he needs to work a lot now more than ever, but they wouldn't let him have this coming Thursday and Friday off.  We are supposed to go preview a law school together and look at places to live and check out the school districts (for him to work at).  We can go up there anytime and do all of that stuff, but the Dean's Preview is only this next week, so now I have to go alone :( booooooooo!

I flame the fact Grey's was everywhere on fb last night because I had it recorded to watch later. Boo. I also flame my emotions lately. And I don't have a wedding to blame it on. I blame stress. And simply being female and hey, it's my peroragative.

I flame my month board.  They created a fb page which I thought would be easier to keep up on because I would rather be on this board than Aprill 2011.  There is apparently some girl on the board who they think is a troll so they started a chat with the whole page or everyone that was online about it.  I am not quite sure how you fb chat multiple people in the same chat but they did and then went on for an hour about this troll.  I finally had to go invisible and am considering unfriending the page.

I just went and looked at that.  I find it extremely interesting that when the E girls didn't agree with her, she didn't say one word.  Yet here it goes on for 3 pages.

I'm not sure if that's her fault or ours.

I flame myself - I started my day by snapping at (and being kind of mean) to my FI - all because he didn't realize the coffee pot was set up and I just forgot to hit the timer button (so he had no coffee, and now I'll be throwing some away) & he put my leftover birthday cake in the fridge poorly, and it fell out upside down.

No, I don't watch Grey's - but I was VERY happy with the American Idol results.

AND - on a good note - we may be picking up FI's wedding band (if he likes it) and getting his suit fitted this afternoon (totally not a FFF appropriate comment, but there it is)

I flame my FMIL again! No, you can't have another 30 invites (although we already gave you 30 additional already) and we have 2 months, no more adding/changing things like trying to adding flowergirls! Everything's done, so don't even think about asking, we'll say no anyway.

Yeah, I was genuinely curious to know what people thought about the link itself rather than what people thought about me, which seemed to be the main focus of the comments over here. I didn't think everyone would view it as racist, but I thought the idea that it was absurd to even have the reaction to the link that I did was strange. So I was curious whether I was really the only one who had that reaction, and I wasn't. I think it ended up being an interesting discussion.

For a B!? Good Lord. I will be happy if my children bring home A's and B's. There's one thing if you have high standards and expect them to do their best and shoot for A's, but it's another to make them feel that a B is "underperforming". Some kids try really, really hard to make B's. Shame on those parents.
