Yeah... jaz, I wouldn't exactly ask for advice in any of these forums.  Yes, they do tend to tag team attack you rather than give genuine advice, unfortunately.  Good luck.

I was ganged up on as if I were the one who said and did something wrong...smh..

You are not the first one who said something either ...others opt for a personal message to tell me not to pay them any mind.. and thats exactly what I'm doing!
