How did you and your FI meet?

Like many others, we met online as well. (Match.com) After date 3 we both knew we had found our soul mate and it was a done deal from there.

Our one year anniversary is March 30th.. fast for some, but when you find the right one you just know.

I met FI because of his boss's divorce!  I took my car to the shop to get it fixed.  I'd been taking it there since I was sixteen and never had a problem.  I didn't realize when I took it in that it was under new ownership (the ex-wife).  My prolbem didn't get fixed...another problem was created so I took it to the other shop 8 miles away in Kentucky that was still owned by my mechanic.   FI was working there. 

It was perfect timing because the day I picked the car up was his last day there....he was going back to his old job the next day.  My mother had been in the hospital and she happened to get out a day earlier than expected---or we would have never met!

I came to find out that our paths had crossed several times....his sister and I attended the same college and he was even at my graduation!
