Wedding Woes

Hey De-Lurked! Confessions!

Y'all need to do a Friday confession.  THAT'S how we all know each other and have so many inside jokes, really.  I mean, you'll never top Kuus' stingray, but you can try.

I can kick things off.Between Tuesday evening and yesterday evening with school, Grandmother's doc appointment, work and picking my parents up at the airport I drove close to 200 miles. I want to stay home today. My Dad wants me to help him run errands for my other Grandmother. I am trying to find a way to say no because I don't wanna.

After about 15 years I think today is the first time I've actually tasted anything. When the fck did salt get so salty?

DH is actually hurt that my parents aren't goign to consider staying at our house while they are here finishing the closing on their condo. I let him know that I offered, and that they know they have an open invitation to stay whenever they want. He didn't believe me and says that he thinks they don't like our house and us. Whatev.

It's the best I can come up with at the moment: I was a 7/7/07 bride, and I wore an Alfred Angelo dress. Shun me if you will. And Pmeg - I semi-stalk your ticker, because you're only a few days behind my pg sister. She'll be 13 weeks on Monday.

Ha! S&V, it's only THE AA dress we talk about, the one with the color on the hem and bodice, not all Alfred Angelo.I have nothing to confess.  I'm too damned boring now.

I don't like having people in my house. I don't feel comfortable with them there. We have limited seating, which is my excuse, but it's really because I just don't like people in my house.

To get my BM dress for SIL's wedding fitted I've been going to the same seamstress I used for my wedding gown. I've been sorely tempted to put on a wedding dress again. The other night I came out of the spare bedroom wearing my veil and tiara. I told H i wanted to be a princess. He laughed at me.

:::off to find pics::: I did originally want THE AA dress, but it didn't look good on me, thankfully.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to lie to a Catholic priest on Sunday.  I've been with FI 7 years, we met at school in RI, both lived in Boston and then moved to NYC - do you think he'll believe we don't live together??  We're meeting him for the first time...But my grandmother even told us we should lie about it though, so I don't feel really bad.

I keep hoping I'm pregnant, because at least that would be a good excuse why I'm not losing any weight.I'm deluded.

Darn! I'm about to leave for an eye doc appointment. Can my confession be that after wearing contacts for 25 years and barely taking them out I've probably ruined my eyes? Got some Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis now and it never really goes away. I've started a Schmoopita Lasik Fund if anyone would like to contribute. You might want to put a donation box out at your next wedding or big event...

Oh Jepm, really?  That's really horrible.  Just have an non-denominational officiant or something.  But I call BS on having a religious ceremony be that important if you're already breaking the religious rules.

I've never explicitly said that.  ilove has.  I'm not ready, and I think I'm afraid of having children.  Not physically, but emotionally.

I bet if you take a huge poop that'll help. That helps everything. Also, you should do P90X. Poops and P90X are going ot be my new answers for things.

I work two jobs and am so stressed that when I finally get a weekend day off I want it to myself.  The last thing I want to do is spend Saturday night with my IL's at a crappy restaurant.  I'm tempted to tell them I have the swine flu.  The only upside... there will be wine, lots of wine.

Yeah, I hear you Varuna, but it's important to us to get married in the Catholic church because it's important to our families.  We both have big Italian and Irish Catholic families, so we are making all the old people happy.  That is my only defense.

It was on Kodak Gallery. I've moved it to Shutterfly. It should work now. I hope. http://tinyurl.com/yfbkkvm
