How far in advance should I send out the STD's? The wedding is in late Feb. 2011.

I have always heard 6-10 months in advance.  I sent mine out at about 9 months out, I had to many out of town guests to wait until 6 months.  I would say if you wanted to send them out now you could, or send them over the next month or so.

I just mailed mine for a 11/6/2010 wedding.  We have lots of out of town guests as well.... but.... I just could not get it together any sooner!  I wanted to send them at the 8-9 month mark.  Most of what you see is 6 months to a year.

We didn't have many OOT guests, so we sent ours out 6 months in advance.  Most of our OOT guests were family, so they knew about it anyways.

I did mine about 6 months in advance, but would have preferred to do it a little sooner due to it being in Sedona, and having many out of state guests too.  If you wait too long, there isn't much time between the STDs and the invitations.
