Happy Wednesday (whoever is here)

Re: Happy Wednesday (whoever is here)

• Oh man I find Hoarders fascinating! I get more mad at the family members on there than I usually do at the Hoarder. I'm always like JUST STFU and don't help, get outta there. lol.
• I will never convince T to go to HP. :(
• It's not eating posts for me, just delaying actually posting them. Probably going through rigorous security measures to make sure they're safe.
• OMG HP world is amazing!! H and I went to Disneyworld and Universal in January. The rides at HP are out of this world and the whole section is just so cute and looks right out the movie. Also, frozen Butterbeer is one of the best things EVER!

I am tired this morning. Fortunately I don't have to be back in my work building until Tuesday. Tomorrow and Monday I work from home and I'm off Friday! I can't wait.

H's last day at his job is in one week and the next day he starts school! It's going to be so weird.
• Yeah my posts are delayed too. I think it's probably just yet another glitch.

• Ok I am back and clean.

I am jealous of swimming with the dolphins. I don't know if I would actually enjoy it, but I really like the idea of it (if that makes any sense).

It is pouring out here and I really wish it would stop. Though, I might just have to break out my new raincoat now! :)

Watch your mouth. That's like saying Voldemort.
• The older I get the more I don't like rides. H hates rides, and always has. If we ever have kids, they are probably going to have to go to amusement parks with friends hahaha
• Good Morning!

I agree, WWoHP was awesome, I'd go again in a heartbeat. We also ate at the Three Broomsticks which was pretty good, really. And Stacks, if you can't convince H to go, you'll just have to work on J and have her convince him!

FI and I are trying to plan some sort of day trip this weekend. I think we both just need to get away, we're both getting really stressed out. We might just head to Omaha and go to their zoo. It's a pretty nice one.

Sesh, if you're still here...YGPM Good morning, ladies! Our mini break at the beach was wonderful. It's amazing how tiring being lazy can make you! I'm planning on hitting DB to buy my foundation garments for my wedding gown and that's pretty much it. My 17 year old and her friend want to go to the mall and they volunteered to take my youngest, so I may let them do that. Right now I'm just enjoying the quiet and my coffee. ETA: auto correct changed Sesh to Seth....stupid iPad.
• Sesh, I am jealous that you are swimming with dolphins. I want to do that so badly.

My grumpiness from yesterday spilled over to today when I got a snappy email from a coworker. Her lack of preparation apparently should constitute an emergency on my end, and I'm not helping her out.

I am also jealous of people who can really go on lots of rides and enjoy them. With my heart condition, I'm really not supposed to go on any rides, but I really cant handle rollercoasters. They freak me out.

• Hahahaha, Stacks. True.

I don't go on rides as much anymore either. I get motion sick.

[QUOTE]Natrasha- When we were on the Hogwarts ride the ride stalled while we were laying on our backs. It was paused for about 5-10 minutes. I was fine, but H hates rides so I was terrified he was going to start vomitting or something. Unfortunately the lines were etoo long at any of the butterbeer carts so we didn't get any.

Sad panda!!

The Hogwarts ride scared the poop out of me with the spiders in the forest. The fire dragon terrified me too, but not in the same way the spiders did. I was screaming but no sound was coming out. We went on the ride 3 times and on the 3rd time I finally went through the whole thing without covering my eyes. I loved it!!

No problem!
• Yeah, not a fan of spiders. Don't think I could handle that part without covering my eyes.

• LTB, the ride is part 3D screens and part real life effects. So first you see giant spiders on the screen and then there are HUGE "real" furry spiders coming at you from the forest. I cried. H held my hand but also laughed at me.

Morning, I really don't have much to contribute to this thread. Never read HP (I know, the HORROR!) and thus have no interest in HP World.

Rachers - poor Moose! Though I'm imagining a little pomerianian slipping and kind of giggling. I swear I'm not cold-hearted :-)

Long day for me today. Work then a board meeting that'll likely last forever. But, on the upside, we get our first produce box delivered today so I'm excited about that! You know you're getting old and/or boring when produce is exciting.

ETA: Natrasha, that ride sounds suuuper scary. I don't do spiders, even fuzzy special effects ones.

• Awww, Rachers :( I'm sure he's okay. Probably just scared and startled. Hopefully he'll be bouncy-excited when you get home.

• Morning ladies!

Yesterday started out crappy but ended on a good note, so I don't have any major complaints. My car is working again (even if it cost $200 to fix). The job mess is resolved for the time being (but not really at all), and I spent some time with friends last night at a Thirty-One party. Food, wine, & friends make for a fun time.

I have not yet been to HP world. I really want to go, but finding the time & $$ to go is proving to be difficult right now.
• I liked HP 6. HP 7 was a disappointment, unfortunately. I know a lot of people really loved it, but I just couldn't get into most of it.

• 5 was my favorite of the books. I enjoyed 6 & 7 as well. I didn't really enjoy the movies for book 7.
• Good morning ladies. I am exhausted today. I'm not used to H waking up hours before the asscrack of dawn for work, and I haven't been able to fall back asleep once he leaves. I just need to get in the habit of it again and then I'll be ok.

I have not read any HP books, and only saw the first 3 movies. So I have nothing to add to this conversation.

• Rach - Moose's hair cut probably put him off balance and that's why he slipped!

I have seen parts of the first two HP movies. I fell asleep. I fail at HP.

Morning -

Not much going on here. Looks like the weather is starting to clear.

Bay - you must be so excited about Wildfire.

I want to go to WWoHP so bad - I think my sister and I are going to plan a trip sometime. I have Friday off and it can't get here soon enough.

I have 10 days left of P90X and have had just about enough of Tony Horton. It hink we're going to start Insanity after we're done.

ETA: I hate spiders and not a big fan of rides. Those two in combination would probably = a panic attack for me.

• KJH- I have been doing P90X for about 7 weeks and am already about done with him. I took a week off but am getting back into it. But I basically talk for him in all his cheesy lines. I think I might try Turbofire after. I actually really like the Plyo workout and I think Turbofire is more like that.
imageBabyFruit Ticker
• Beachy - I was ok up until about the last 2 weeks or so. He just started really getting on my nerves. I say nasty things to him all the time now. Embarassed I have to say my favorite workout is the Kenpo. I think I could do that everyday. I don't mind the yoga, but geez and 1 1/2 hours of it?

I'm looking forward to the Insanity, only because there's no equipment necessary.

We're (FI and I are doing it together) taking a week off after we finish P90X and then will start it. It will work out that we're done just before our HM, so no worrying about how we'll fit it in.

• I have never done the entire yoga dvd. I usually get about 20 minutes in and give up because I just hate it. Yoga isn't for me, and to me it's not a workout. There have been days that I've done plyo instead of yoga, or did the Jillian Michaels yoga dvd instead. Or just gone for a run. I am not a yoga person at all, or at least not yoga dvd person, and it is pure torture for me to do an hour and 15 minutes of it.

I also like the Kenpo one a lot, that's probably my second favorite. That and plyo are the kind of workouts I've always done and loved though.

• So are the people in this thread planning on sticking around TK? We need to get some better conversations going here. I'm a terrible thread-starter.
