*Snort*  When we were still planning a wedding, the banquet manager lady sent us a sample of our the labels for our wine bottles.  They were in Papyrus.   I was just like "Really?  Have you never ever been on the internet?"

I just don't get what makes a 'quality font' I guess. I'm not saying anything against font snobbery, I just really don't understand it. Like, don't get how you can hate a font.

We did have a bit of a mind-meld there didn't we? But I am a snob. I see no reason in which Comic Sans, Papyrus or Curlz are justifiable. None at all. If I had it my way the world would be styled in Helvetica and MrsEaves ;)

It's just a styling thing - they're don't flow nicely together (which is partly the point) and are just... inferior and well, hideous to the eye. Like how a fashion designers may absolutely hate I dunno... acid wash.  I (and for the most part many designers) hate Comic Sans. And Papyrus.

Definitely a mind-meld. I'm really a big fan of Frutiger light these days. I haven't really pinpointed why. It's very versatile. My god, I am such a typography nerd.
