I've never been stung either, but I've had allergy tests and an epinephrine prescription. So there is a chance I wouldn't go into anaphylactic shock, but not really something I want to test.
I've only been stung by a bee twice in my life, and both times, I swelled up like a balloon. I don't want to test what would happen if I got stung a third time

Sidenote, why is it that at 10:23am I am craving Domino's pizza? I never eat Dominos.
I've only been stung by a bee but I've been stung 3 times. I have no interest in finding out what a wasp sting would be like or reliving any bee stings. I'm not allergic, just a big baby when it comes to that.
I'm loving everything about Chrome except for the picture thing. I was having trouble with FF's new version when it downloaded the other day and got frustrated with it not communciating with flash player. It kept crashing.

Meg, things are going. FI is refusing to talk with a counselor, so thats fun. But really, the issue is that he just does not listen to me, which became clear when he told me that part of his problem is I "just keep adding things to our wedding" but couldnt give me one example of something I'd added to our wedding (duh, because we havent booked anything yet). As much as I dont like sleeping alone in the house, it was nice to have some time to myself yesterday and I am looking forward to having one more night to chill alone before I get to deal with FMIL.
Muni, my sister is allergic to bees. When she was little, our pediatrician (who really should have retired long before my sister was born) told my mom not to dress her in bright colors in the summer so she would be less likely to get stung.
Fezz, Baby Kane is so cute. He has squishable cheeks.
Thanks for the wishes for fun on the Cape. It's going to be super busy since FI is in a wedding and we have errands (like getting my ring resized finally!). I just hope FMIL isnt a basket case- she was already micromanaging our trip when we talked to them last week.

I love Chrome too. I REALLY love having the address bar a my Google search bar, because I Google everything.
TK and TB just need to make their websites Chrome-compatible.
Midge - circus theme all the way! We went to a 1 y/o party recently with a circus theme and it was too cute. The food was corn dogs, popcorn, lemonade, etc. All the kids got popcorn buckets as their favor and it was loaded with cotton candy, the orange marshmallow peanuts, a clown nose, Cracker Jacks, Dumbo book, and a headbopper type things of a circus animal. BB got an elephant. everything came from the Dollar Tree so they didn't have to break the bank.

Mrs. B, I think if you right click on the picture tab on the menu bar and tell it to open as a tab it'll work. Something like that. I use Chrome at home and I was able to get the pictures to work, I just had to play with it.

There's some trick to getting chrome to let you put pictures in. I think you have to right click and select "open in new tab" but I could be wrong. I can't test it because I'm stuck in crappy IE land right now.
Button, could he possibly think that when you come up with a new idea that you're "adding things to the wedding"? I found so so many ideas on Etsy and Pinterest for our wedding and I can tell you that hardly any of them happened, as they were mostly just ideas. However, H did get upset with me a few times because he thought they were concrete things. Your FI could be thinking the same thing. I'm sorry he's refusing to see a counselor. *hugs*

Button has he told you what his vision of your wedding is? Maybe if you both talk about what you both want then would like to have, it will make things easier. There is definitely a difference between the two, and if you can nail down what you both really want, then you can tackle the necessities of the other things you'd like to have.
Where on the Cape are you going?

That's exactly what it is. It makes it hard for me to feel like I can suggest ideas. Plus he didnt get a raise he was supposed to get, so he is freaking out about saving. I'm making the effort to be as thrifty as possible with our wedding planning- like, I'd LOVE to get engagement photos taken since we have very few "nice" photos of us, but I know he will see it as an unnecessary expense so I am just not even going to suggest it. Oh well. He also needs to find a new job that doesnt make him so unhappy.
In other news, needing to go to the Cape means I will miss our monthly staff meeting. For the fourth month in a row. I AM SO EXCITED. I wonder how long I can keep this going....

Meg, I'll be near Hyannis most of the time we are there. We'll be off-Cape for the wedding festivities, though. I dont know that he has a vision for our wedding other than the incredibly long honeymoon. That's a good question to ask him.

I so understand that and I hope he realizes a lot of those things are just ideas. FYI - A lot of photographers, at least around here, throw in engagement pictures with the wedding package. Or you could just find a friend with a decent camera and ask if they'd be willing to take a few pictures. Good luck and have fun on your trip! Sounds like you need it.
Button, do you have a photographer booked for the wedding yet? All the ones I look at included an engagement session in almost all of their packages. I know some photographers don't do that, especially depending on budget, but you could luck out!
ETA - Whoops, guess I didn't refresh the page... Midge beat me to it!
Yeah I was going to suggest what midge just did, have it thrown in or ask a friend.
The thing is with pinterest and the knot it's going to be easy to just want to "add stuff" the good thing is you can DIY a lot of stuff, so maybe tell him you'll DIY a lot to try and cut down costs so you can afford X Y Z. I think discussing the vision is a great place to start though.
Where off cape are you going button?
