Those people should never be male. This x's 1,000. Didn't Ashley Simpson let her husband wear her skinny jeans while she was pregnant? I think I recall hearing about that and her commenting on how hot she thought he was wearing them.

I totally did the matching eye shadow thing in high school.  Some days it was even worse because I would also match the rubberbands on my braces to my outfit and eyeshadow and colored contacts and gum.*Runs and hides in shame*Also, I love me a good maxidress.

I think a lot of people who are heavy wear them because they think the huge tent of fabric will somehow disguise their bodyI bought one and I didn't think it would hide my body.  I thought it looked nice on me.  I don't think I was trying to disguise anything.  I wanted a dress that was fairly lightweight and cute.  Who know, maybe I did look like a big purple tent. Eh.

Maxi dresses. They are unflattering on everyone.Definitely not true. They look fantastic on me and I'm nowhere close to being tall. Same with skinny jeans, I can rock them like nothing else and I'm only 5'4".I despise Uggs in any situation. Just. Say. No. They are nowhere near being cute, fashionable or even practical. And I concur with the over-accessorizing. Pick one or two, not ten.

I think i'm tall enough to avoid looking like an elf. Georgia- everytime I think about gauchos I'm reminded of you. Also, when southern girls wear t shirts (pink- with something southern related on them) with pearls and ribbon in their hair. Sorry, t shirts aren't dressy regardless of your accessories.

I shouldn't have come in here because I have a black maxi dress that looks good on me (and especially great on my cleavage), I love my gauchos and I braid my wet hair into two braids at least once a month.Brie must really hate me.I also have Uggs that I wear around the house, to the grocery store and on planes.  I don't care; they keep my feet warm.

I'm a big scarf fan, and do wear them inside sometimes.  But ya know, that's the european way.Also, I have a pair of tall black flat boots, and they look good.

I am a huge, huge huge scarf whore, but I can't get behind them during weather where it is illogical to think you need one.  October-March, absolutely.  Indoors and out.  But a scarf in JULY?  What?  Skinny jeans on guys.  Barf.  The guy in skinny jeans should never get the girl.

Ditto all of this. Cacoffer, ITA about bump-its. It does start to look creepy and like people have wigs on. My H&M lady decided to make my "bump" bigger for the wedding (thinking it would shrink down after time), and I ended up feeling like I had an alien head. I strongly dislike hammer pants too, especially when paired with those extreme gladiator heels or ankle boots. Not flattering on anyone.

I'm sure you all look great in your maxi dresses, but I've seen them look awful way too many times that I think they should be retired.  I also find that people wearing maxi dresses often forgo proper bra support because of the stupid tiny boob triangles and spaghetti straps they have, which often yields really unfortunate results.They are also totally NMS so I'm obviously biased.
