I kind of wish that the knot gods would change SB into whiney brides, because that is all they are. It is one of the largest collections of stupid on the knot right now, and the title of snarky makes them all think theyre doing right but they all just suck at life. So very hard.

That is not where AFSB is.  It may have the title of snarky brides, but the real AFSB is hanging out on a dead board somewhere on the nest.

How the f*ck did I miss "the blacks"??  Damn I need to spend more time on here.

I flame Gina for not knowing what she's talking about - my $50 spa day coupon for the wedding didn't put us $800 over budget.  It was already in the budget.  And we have a cushion of 2 grand.  Which means technically, we are 1,200 under budget but we don't want to touch that 2k if we don't have to.  Which is why I said we are $800 over budget BUT STILL ABLE TO PAY FOR IT.  Don't be a judgemental b*tch if you don't know what you're talking about.

That being said, I also flame some of the girls on the Budget board and everybody who posts about how people who spend more than 5k on their wedding is wasting their cash.  If I'm not going into debt over my wedding and my bills are paid, it's really none of your business to judge how much myself or anybody else on the Knot spends on their wedding.  It's just as bad to be all "ZOMG I could NEVAR spend over 5k on ONE DAY" as it is when snobby girls are all "ZOMG I could NEVAR cheap out on MY DAY and only spend 5k!"  Beautiful weddings come in all budgets.  MYOB.

Please reread my response to you which included that I was NOT talking about Amoro, but MomoKubiak. And this all sounds a lot like just your opinion rather than concrete examples that I could work with, so all I can say is that I'm sorry you feel that way. FWIW, your sn gave me high hopes for you too. At least we can be mutually disappointed.

No, it really doesn't, and it's stupid to think that calorie-burning is the only reason to run.  When you ran, you also increased your cardiovascular fitness and pumped your muscles.  Whether you lose weight or gain or stay the same doesn't determine whether your run was "worth it" or whether it's still a "valid" run.  That's just . . . I'm not sure what, but it doesn't make sense.

It was a couple of days ago, nuggs, in a thread with a bunch of generalizations about Canadians. It wasn't as big of a deal as some of the things she was saying about Canadians, so I think we all let that part slide, but it bothered me and I wish we had called her on it. Then she started a thread on JE about how mean this board is. Nothing grinds my gears like sweeping generalizations do.
