I know I am completely late to the game on this, but what happened with the callout stuff? I stopped posting for the month or so we were renovating our house and I missed it completely.

I was thinking about this earlier, actually.

I can't believe that KA didn't know who "Callout" was.  I doubt Callout was clever enough to disguise her IP address, so discovering her identity should have been as simple as comparing her IP to those of other users.  The fact that none of the regs on either E or SB were banned after That Which Must Not Be Named came out would hint that none of them were responsible for it, right? 

Then again, it seems that TK bans user names and not IP addresses -- which is kind of unusual in and of itself.  Maybe the forum software isn't that advanced, or maybe it's just more important to maintain hits to drive advertising revenue.  I don't know.  Just random speculation.

On the callouts - My understanding is that there's a "suspect".  But, because TheKnot doesn't track IP addresses, there's been little to no progress in proving that the suspect is guilty. 

Here's the thing to keep in mind, though - the person responsible is horrid for posting that crap.  But so are the people who thought it up.  And I don't think we'll ever know who those are, whether the suspect turns out to be guilty or not.

Yeah, I have to bite my thumb with some things people say over there. Everyone is nice, but sometimes, with some comments, I have to tell myself, "you're not on e, you're not on e..." I'm so glad whatshername got called out by multiple people on the live mouse thing. Today's gem was when someone said if people don't RSVP they won't be allowed into the reception and allowed to eat because she has a B-list and their seats will be given away.
