  • It is so hot and muggy here already. There isn't a spring in Georgia.

  • It's gross here.  Humidity is the pits.  That's nothing new though.

Uhm, Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja are my favorites, Loops!

  • I need a good book to read right now, but we have virtually any peace & quiet or privacy. But I just have to tell myself that it will all be over in 2 weeks.

Are you drunk KJB?  You could FB message everyone and their brother if you were... LOL.

Edit: FB message = write on everyone's wall.
  • We get pretty humid here in the summer. I am so excited for that just because I'm so sick of the cold.

There you go with your sterotypes again. There may not be spring where YOU live in GA, but I assure you there is spring here. Lows next week are expected to be in the upper 40's to low 50's, highs in the 70's. Perfect spring weather to me.

I'm here, but alas no wine. Just finished up dinner that older daughter cooked mostly be herself. Burgers, roasted corn and black bean salsa, and lemon strawberry shortcakes. YUMMINESS!!!
  • Missy - SUCH a good book.  Pick it up if you have a chance.

KJB - I'm not drunk either.  I am on wine glass # 2 though.
  • we have no wine.  that must be illegal.

  • That does sound like a yummy dinner Sarab.  We had pasta, salad, garlic bread.
  • I decided to re-start the FNL series from the Pilot onward. My evening has now gotten better.

  • Loopy - what is it about?
  • Working first shift again I'm going through my wine rather quickly.  So far I've loved every bottle I got from this wine shop in Maryland.  I guess I need to go back to Maryland for more wine LOL.

Can I ask what kinds?  I need some new wine selections.

  • Missy - It's set in Mississippi in the 60's (I think... segregation and all that) and tells about a white woman who sets out to write an article about life from the perspective of the black help.
  • I will write it down on my to read list. Thanks Loopy.
  • spiffy - I like dry reds.  So I drink mostly cabernet's, red zinfandel's, shiraz.  I really like this cab called 337 that I've been picking up at the grocery store.  And one called "the Immortal Zin" which is red zinfandel.  I also really enjoyed a melange that was called Seven Daughters that had 7 different grapes in it.  Yum!
  • I just started drinking reds.  I really do like most of the ones I've tried so far.  I live in wine country so I've really only tried local wines which the majority are very sweet.  I want to expand my wine selection by trying some more dry wines.

That one with seven different grapes sounds amazing.  I'll definitely keep it in mind!  Thanks so much!

  • Loopy, it was delicious! She did the lemon scones all by herself, start to finish.

[QUOTE]We were just watching that One Born Every Minute show and it was not helping my baby fever.

A friend of mine and his wife were just interviewed for that show!
  • Katelyn when are you getting married?
  • I'm back, with wine now.  I just skyped for a bit with my friend and her kids.  I love getting to see her baby get bigger!

And... since I called H down to skype with us, I also got him to pour my wine.  Score!

  • Hey .. Knotties...

I had an interesting day.. It started off doing Professional  First Aid and CPR classes (we have done the normal one for so long they requested we learn the more advance class)... Then we setup for the sunset sail only to be cancelled because of bad weather.

    Sounds exciting right?
