beachy -  i went to target today.  my bill was 60+ and I paid $32.  I was quite happy with that.
especially since it was mostly stuff like cat food, litter.

  • I wish Cowboys were still one, but I like Mallory and her dad.
  • I like all the teams left in TAR as well.  Kent & Vyxsin (or however you spell their names) really got on my nerves this season.  I can't say they were as annoying as Charla & Mirna during their All-Star season.
  • Yeah I do watch that show.  It's what inspired me (or inspired H to convince me) to start coupining.  The extent I go is to get the Sunday paper now and clip coupons, and add e-coupons to my Safeway card.  But we got some really good deals today.  Like a $14 pack of Tide Stain Release for $3, 4 of H's deodorants for $3, and things like that.  So our bill was still about $90, but considering the type of stuff we got I thought it was great.  We saved a tank of gas.

  • That's awesome KJB!  I never really think of using the coupons at Target for some reason.  But when Safeway has stuff on sale they have great deals, so I'm pretty happy shopping there for most things.

I'm not professional couponer, but Target has those packs they send you in the mail PLUS a ton of coupons on their website you can print out. Very money-saving friendly, IMO.

  • That's awesome! Good for you!

  • yes, exactly mery.  the trick is to pair up the target coupon with a manu coupon and catch it on sale.

  • Hmm I'll have to sign up for the Target coupons because we don't get any delivered here.  I got them when I lived with my parents though.  Good to know!

Okay ladies I gotta go make some dinner.  Mmmm mac and cheese and hot dogs.  Sahlen's hot dogs, which probably only Mery can appreciate!

  • like my john frieda hair dye:  $11.99 - $5.00 manu coup, $5.00 target web coup = $1.99 hair dye.

Indeed! My aunt lives in Salt Lake City and when my grandmother would visit her (back when you could check luggage for free) one of her checked "luggage" items would be 20 pounds of sahlen's hot dogs and weber's mustard. I still get Weber's mustard when I go anywhere with a Wegmans.
