On an only barely related note, I tried to make a cute knot ornament for my SS by tying a cord into a fancy knot and it was a HUGE FAIL.  So, my SS did not get a cute knot ornament because I couldn't get my lazy butt to a fabric store to get any decent cord material and the stuff I did have made a teensy eensy little knot that would have just looked stupid.
