Gah now I think I under baked this next batch. The first batch was black they were so burnt. I put them in for the right time and temp, so it had to have been the cheap baking sheets I just bought.

I"m a horrible baker. It is not my forte. However, my friends and I are putting on a bake sale on Saturday for Relay for Life and I feel like I need to contribute something. Nothing is going to be edible though.

Good evening, ladies!

I am so glad to come hang out here, where there's a little sanity.  I spent some time today with my mom, and she's all on my case for a wedding day schedule, specifically as it pertains to photos.  When I said I wasn't doing it yet because
1) I am writing my dissertation
2) The wedding is not for almost four months
she yelled at me along the lines of "I guess you're just going to leave this whole wedding until the last minute!"

People are crazy.

The second batch is edible, they're just gooey. The first batch was black and hard as a rock. I tried one and it took over 10 minutes to get the nasty taste out of my mouth.

Well she definitely sent him a $100 visa gift card for his birthday and has been calling him nonstop. Not to apologize, but she just wants to pretend nothing ever happened. She's like that. Crazy lady.
