And thanks for the support, ladies. Those who've never been through it never understand or see it. And yes, there are those who look at it as a "flippant" option, but most don't. I think they're so common in Hollywood, it's seen as no big deal in the general population, but that's far from true.

Wow, I never realized the differences between parishes/diocese.  My MOH was MUSLIM and no one said a word to me about it being a problem.  My grandfather is the most devout Southern Baptist in the world and he was one of our readers.  I also got to walk down the aisle to the Wagner's Bridal Chorus, and I didn't have to cover my shoulders.  For a church that prides itself on tradition, it's a shame that the rules aren't as consistent. 

FWIW, in RCIA the abortion topic came up.  We were taught that the mother's life always takes precedence over the fetus.  So I'm a little disappointed that the nun was excommunicated.

Finally, my flame is for the girl in the photography thread above.  She said, "we were fixing to????"  Good God, I know that's a Texas thing, but I hate that word.  There are so many other words you can use.  For instance: we were going to, planning to, wanting, etc.  At least she did say "fixin."
