Well that's good to know Andrea. What a PITA. I hope I don't have that issue because that could cause some serious issues at places that actually check your ID with your credit/bank cards.

I carried my DHs card for almost a month because I damaged mine and it took forever to come in the mail and I think I had one place mention it. Lots of places 'checked' it, though. LOL

We do not have the same last name, though.

Luckily, it wasn't a huge issue for me because the only reason I have two banks is because I've moved twice in the past year.   Bank of America in NC and kept it open for our move to Chicago.  Then Huntington in Indy during our stay back home while we planned our move to Chicago.  I ordered the new BoA card early enough to where there was time to fix the error before I needed it again.  And luckily Huntington was the one that got it right the first time.  HOWEVER,  BoA did (accidentally?)charge me a rush fee on the third one because we were getting close to our moving date.  We got that cleard up REALLY fast.  No way was I paying for a rush to fix their mistake. That's what happens when you choose a big bank I suppose.

I got my new drivers license on my anniversary yesterday.  I am not quick on the name change.  lol.

Habs, it took me like seven months before I got my driver's license changed.  My debit card still has my maiden name on it.  I am not quick, ha ha.

I have no idea what to get FI for his birthday this Friday. I put no thought into it & just figured I'd get him something - today I realized he was saying he wanted these Burberry shoes he saw online - I called around & none of the stores carry them here so I am back to the start. I could order it online but it wouldnt get here in time.

I got him a watch last year & dress shirt & tie for Christmas (he likes dressy clothes) & now I'm stumped.
