And I have nothing constructive to add, other than this HAS to be MUD... there's no way someone who supposedly has posted here before doesn't know what a dollar dance, money tree, OR troll is and wouldn't know that posting about replacing bridesmaids, not asking about budgets, and talking about "its MY day so EVERYTHING I say goes, regardless of how ridiculous it is".

Uhh no.
1) To have the "too" at the end of that sentence you would need to be, you know, real.
2) Disney is all well and good for a honeymoon, but I - unlike you apparently (if you are real) - kept my guests and bridal party in mind and planned a local ceremony and reception... and my BM's will be in GORGEOUS $75 dresses that they get to choose (after they all told me, privately, what their budget was).

You are being ridiculous to expect them to pay that much for a gown. My bridesmaids dresses were $175 but my bridesmaids only had to pay $75 as we covered the rest of the cost. We live in a tough economy right now and people have to save as much as they can and not spend $350 on a bridesmaids dress they are only going to get one use out of. Please reconsider your choice of dress or allow them to pick their own.

Yeah, my BM dresses were about $100, and all night everyone was commenting on how awesome they were and how you COULD actually wear them again.  Amazing.

I'm just going to humor you right now, OP, despite the fact that I'm hoping that you're MUD.  If you haven't already, please ask your bridesmaids for a budget.  If it's less than the cost of the dress, consider subsidizing further or picking a new BM dress.  And please consider lurking on TK further to see how things go here.   And good luck with your wedding planning.
