I honestly don't have the time, energy, or giftedness to create an entire AE.  Much less finding pics from someone on FB, and creating this fake life.  I feel like I'd have to keep notes of what I've said and make MYSELF a bio just to remember to be consistent.

It makes me head hurt.

Yeah that's what I was just thinking. There are strangers among us. ::cues creepy music:: But really, it is kind of offputting to know that somebody who is supposedly well liked is lying through their teeth. And it makes me wonder why she's lying because it's not as if every single person who posts here is married or engaged, or has to be for anyone to like them.

That, or someone made it up. I know that most of these are most likely true, but I also suspect that some are made up for the shock value.

I also like "My husband likes that I'm fat."  It is nice to see that not all men worship skinny models...or want their wives to look like that.  Maybe now we women will stop trying to live up to these impossible standards (myself included)

The abortion ones make me a little sad too. The one about her husband breaking her leg is awful. I know stuff like that happens all the time, but I seriously want to give her a hug, and tell her to get away from him.

I've seen versions of Post Secret on other sites, so I think as long as I'm not making money off this, there won't be any issues.

The main reason I chose to use this site over another type of blog site is because I don't want people to post anonymous comments.  I think more harm than good will come from that.

We had someone do that a while ago.  I can't remember her name for some reason, but she was the girl who was pretending to be a porn star.  She was very well liked on this board.

And it's driving me crazy that I can't remember her name.

I agree, I think it would just bog it down and take away from the secret part. Its all well and good for us to discuss it here but the secrets should stay as is without commentary. I also think for arb to post them, AND moderate comments, is just a lot of work she shouldnt have to do.

What are offboards?  There are at least two posts mentioning offboards and I have no clue what that is.

I think these are very interesting and somewhat sad.  I really wish people would call off weddings instead of marrying someone they don't love.  I just can't imagine trying to be with someone who I don't passionately love.  I'm not judging, just saying I think it is so sad.

An offboard is a board off the knot with knotties on it.  They are usually kept secret.  I remember when I first started posting there were some offboard wars going on.  I remember being extremely confused.
