Also, looking at that again, I think it's definitely someone who's trying to sound more pretentious than they are.  You wouldn't normally say "summer with us on vacation" because if you are "sumering" you are on vacation.

well whatever.  you're in the ontario if i recall correctly.  you guys think you're the only ones that exist.  my family from quebec and family and friends in alberta say "holidays".  so clearly, i'm right and you're wrong.  :P

I feel like "summering" is more than just going somewhere for a week.  It's more like spending an extended period in one place, like where you have a summer home.  That might just be my own impression.

That's the impression I get to. Not just vacation. Like you go somewhere and stay there the entire season. Hence using the name for a season as a verb.

Either way, unless you actually do have a summer home where you spend three months fucking off, saying summering kind of makes you sound like a pretentious douche.

I'm a Tier 2 copywriter at work. But that means I'm in a higher position and get paid more than the others. I don't think this applies to the KPS, so I'm guessing a second-rate friend. That's just weird, why rate them?
