The ghosts were nice, but they scared the hell out of us.  They were particularly entertained by moving my parents' towels around.  My parents are very anal about things like perfectly folded towels and everytime they went into their bathroom, the towels were moved, often folded perfectly over the trash can.

Yes people I was joking I am from NY but not the hampton per se although I do work out here and can tell you I work with and am surrounded by some of the nicest people I could ever ask for. I was joking cause who would call it summering if its there home? HA HA no I am not related to Kylie although that question will never get old and most of the time I do answer yes when people ask.  Hope all is well and ps I also have met the real houswives of ny and they were very kind and pleasant just proving you should never judge a book by its cover

I gotta admit, I kind of judge people that say they don't have an opinion on politics. I get being uninformed, and therefore being unable to formulate a valid opinion. But just plain not caring? I don't understand it and I also judge it.

I would be the uninformed. And I dont like saying I'm for or against something unless I know everything about each side. I just feel stupid b/c I dont do research about that stuff - it kinda all goes over my head anyway. Plus it seems like both sides have answers to everything...politics confuse the crap out of me.

Yeah, that's totally understandable. I didn't really start paying attention to politics until H and I started dating. He's super opinionated about that kind of stuff and a lot of our conversations in the beginning were about politics. I find it interesting and I generally enjoy debating this kind of stuff with people.

LDY, I only know as much as I do about politics because I somehow ended up living in DC. And I feel uninformed most of the time compared to pretty much everyone I work with and most people who live here in general. Luckily my FI lets me ask dumb questions and keeps me filled in.

I completely remember this story.  I will NOT be summering, or wintering, or weekending, or anything-ing, in that house. 

And the fell/ever one is killing me.  I just figured the tier-2 bestie was crap to get a reaction.

Can you explain your apathy about it to me? I'm not trying to be condescending or mean, I just really don't get how you can not care. Politics, even your local ones, affect your day to day life.

I'm glad you can understand my view on it, LC. Lots of times, eventhough no one has ever said anything about it, I feel like people think I'm an idiot b/c I dont know about stuff like that. It's just not on my radar. I love reading the political threads here though, it kinda helps me understand a bit more.

Anna, I can only imagine some of that political stuff has to get in your brain via osmosis while you're in DC. You're lucky you have FI to help. H doesn't know much about politics either. We're a pretty uninformed pair. His dad will come down and preach politics to us though. Yay.
